Tempuru, an anime that will begin airing in July 2023, is a harem comedy anime that begins when a young man goes to a nunnery where three beautiful sisters live and where no men are allowed, to train in order to suppress his worldly desires! It's a new work by the creator of Grand Blue, and it's packed with cute girls and plenty of impactful comedy scenes. Here we've put together a list of the characters that appear in Tempuru!
Character #1: Akagami Akemitsu
The protagonist of this work. Born into a family of legendary womanizers, and having grown up watching his dissolute father, he is a college student who takes his father as a negative example and works diligently at his studies and part-time job. However, after falling in love at first sight with a beautiful girl he meets by chance, he loses interest in both his studies and part-time job. To retrain himself, he takes a leave of absence from university and decides to train at a temple introduced to him by a relative. However, his relatives were unaware that the temple had become a nunnery where men were not allowed, and there he met a beautiful girl he fell in love with at first sight. After a series of events, he lost his place to live and ended up living there, doing odd jobs and training while doing chores. He has a serious personality, forcing himself to suppress his stronger worldly desires with reason, but he frequently encounters lucky perverted encounters, desperately displaying his reaction skills to suppress them.
Character #2: Aoba Yuzuki
The eldest daughter of the nunnery, whom Meiko fell in love with at first sight. She is caring, reliable, and very responsible. Despite many misunderstandings, she ultimately accepts Myoko into the temple. She truly loves the temple where she lives and is willing to sacrifice herself for it, but she also sometimes takes on things on her own. Despite her appearance, she has incredible strength. She doesn't seem to be very good at sports.
Character #3: Aoba Tsukuyo
The second daughter, with blonde hair, is lively and headstrong. She adores her older sister and often mistakenly believes that Akimitsu is trying to make a move on Yuzuki, and although she tries to stop him with her body, the more she gets nervous, the more useless she becomes. Although she is a member of the archery club at the high school she attends, she feels guilty that her older sister quit the club due to family circumstances, and so she doesn't show up. However, this is only because she respects her sister so much that she believes her talented sister quit the club due to family circumstances, when in fact the reason Yuzuki quit was because she was too lacking in talent.
Character #4: Aoba Kurage
The third daughter, a pure and innocent girl with a mysterious aura. A petite middle school student still growing up, she has a laid-back personality and is always accompanied by her pet cat. She observes Akimitsu and her sisters' antics from a distance, and occasionally utters sharp remarks. She has no ill feelings toward Akimitsu, including his cooking skills, and hopes that he will marry one of her sisters due to his talent.
Character #5: Mia Kristoff
A girl with pigtails who is staying at the Aoba family temple. She often encounters lucky perverts, and she harbors strong resentment towards Akimitsu after he accidentally perverted her on their first encounter. However, they hit it off because Akimitsu's family was known as a lecherous family, and she shared a similar background to Akimitsu: she came from a family of lustful people and had gone to study at a nunnery in Japan out of shame for her family.
Character #6: Kagura Baldwin
A slightly devious attendant who came to study abroad with Mia. Although she often teases and plays with Mia, she is very loyal to her, and they share a strong bond. In fact, she was tasked by her family with giving Mia as many experiences as possible with men. However, she ultimately respects her wishes and continues to support her from behind the scenes.
Character #7: Uki-san
She is the head priest of Mikazuki-ji Temple, the nunnery of the Aoba family. A beautiful, busty woman with a carefree personality, she is calculating, shrewd, and a very reliable adult, but in her private life she is sloppy and loves alcohol. As a student, she was a shy, bespectacled girl. Apparently, she chose the profession of head priest because her first love's temple was her family home.
Character #8: Mineanu Onishiro
He is Aoba Yuzuki's arranged marriage partner and fiancé. He is a gentle man who wants to have about 10 children. In reality, Yuzuki has no intention of getting married, and upon learning that the engagement is merely a means to buy time to rebuild the temple, he confronts her with the harsh reality of management and financial difficulties. However, due to Yuzuki's enthusiasm and Meiko's persuasion, they become engaged, lending their names to each other. Although she doesn't seem to have any intention of marrying Yuzuki, she seems to like Akimitsu and is acquainted with Ukiki.
Character #9: Mari
A senior at Yuzuki's school who works at a Buddhist altar shop. She apparently has a younger sister, who is Tsukiyo's classmate.
Character 10: Sarah Kristoff
Mia Kristoff's younger sister, a beautiful blonde, catches everyone's eye. Unlike Mia, she seems to have inherited the teachings of her lustful family and is a rich young lady with several lovers. She suddenly appears near Mia, takes a liking to Akimitsu, and seduces him with her extreme predatory nature. Although she has a beautiful body, she is actually younger than Jellyfish, at 13, and does not seem to have crossed the line with any of her lovers.
Character 11: Mikoto Baldwin
A beautiful woman dressed as a man and serving as Sarah Christoph's butler. She's also Kagura's older sister, and the calm, collected, and shrewd Kagura has a difficult time dealing with her, often breaking out in a cold sweat. She's the perfect butler for Sarah, possessing exceptional physical abilities and being able to manipulate her sister without allowing her to resist. Although she can be very strict with Kagura, she cares deeply for her.
