Teasing Master Takagi-san is a popular manga written by Yamamoto Souichirou and currently serialized in Gessan, published by Shogakukan. It was originally serialized in Gessan mini, a supplement to Gessan, from 2013, and when Yamamoto's regular Kyouko-chan ended its run in 2016, it was transferred to the magazine and serialized there instead. It became a hot topic for its cute pranks and heart-warming youth stories that took viewers back to their school days, and in 2018 it was made into a long-awaited anime.

Takagi-san and Nishikata-kun are classmates in junior high school and sit next to each other in the same class. Takagi-san teases Nishikata in various ways almost every day, and Nishikata tries to think of various countermeasures to counter it, but in the end, he always ends up being teased according to Takagi-san's calculations. A special feeling slowly grows in the midst of this teasing. This is a new type of "teasing love comedy" that depicts the daily lives of these two.

I wonder what it is, but in recent anime, there are many anime characters with relatively distinctive appearances, but Takagi-san's only noticeable feature is that she has a visible forehead, and yet she is so cute that she doesn't look inferior to the characters with unique personalities. Perhaps it's the saying that simplicity is best, and as I'll introduce later, the various charms of this item make it seem many times cuter.
Takagi-san's charm No. 2: Her smile is lovely

The reward that comes from Nishikata doing what you want him to do is, yes, a smile. When Takagi-san is teasing Nishikata, she looks like she is having so much fun, and just seeing her smile makes me happy. NishikataGood job. Even though it's the same smile, the devilish, scheming smile is also very cute in its own way, so let's take this opportunity to briefly introduce Takagi's smile collection.
Takagi-san Laughs Out Loud

This is Takagi-san looking the happiest. When Nishikata acts exactly according to Takagi's wishes without the slightest deviation, Takagi smiles as if to say, ``Well done, here's a reward.'' If I can see a smile like this, I don't care how much I'm teased, right? Nishikata, hey Nishikata, hey Gothic ProN,'Meiryo',meiryo,sans-serif;font-size: 16px;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-align: left;text-decoration: none;text-indent: 0px">Nishikata?

This is just a beautiful smile. The little devil Takagi-san, reading Nishikata's thoughts and the smile he shows when he sets a trap. It's amazing how cute this is as well.
Finally a smile that looks at me

This is already Nishikata or anything like that, but I'm sure all the viewers were excited by his devastating smile, which he also showed in the famous scene in Teasing Master Takagi-san. I'd love to see if there are any middle school students who can do this (lol) Nishikataeh...
A mocking smile

Takagi-san does this a lot, doesn't she? (laughs) The smile she shows when she teases Nishikata for his shallowness or when she simply mocks him. But, well, it's okay if Takagi-san makes fun of me (lol)
Takagi-san's charm part 3: Little devil Takagi

She likes Nishikata, but Nishikata is insensitive so he doesn't notice at all, and she takes advantage of that and attacks him quite a bit, of course has become so used to being teased that no matter what anyone says to him, he just thinks he's being teased (lol), but the devilish feeling of Takagi-san teasing Nishikata's naivety at that time is really amazing. Eh? Was Takagi-san a middle school student? For a moment, you'll forget when this kid is around.
Takagi-san's charm #4: Takagi-san loves Nishikata

Takagi-san's actions that really show how much she loves Nishikata are, as she appears wherever Nishikata is (lol). Even if she doesn't take one wrong step, it makes people think she's stalking him. On days when Nishikata is on duty, Takagi arrives at school earlier than Nishikata and waits for him, and when Nishikata goes shopping at the bookstore or goes home from school, Takagi is basically always wherever Nishikata is. I'm glad it was Takagi, if it wasn't for a girl I had no interest in at all... (laughs) Anyway, that's how much Takagi likes Nishikata.
Takagi-san's charm number 5: voice and singing

This is about the anime, but the reason why Takagi-san is so cute is definitely her voice. Voice actress Takahashi Rie's acting is excellent, and her voice is also a perfect fit, which is wonderful. Furthermore, the character songs, or rather cover songs, sung by Takahashi as Takagi in the ending were a must-have for people of that generation. From ELT to HY, he covers a variety of songs with a youthful and romantic feel, so please listen to the songs sung in Takagi's voice.
Takagi-san's charm #6: Rare moments of confusion

Takagi-san, who usually takes the upper hand, is unintentionally excited by the innocent Nishikata's unexpected words. It's rare to see such a rare Takagi-san, but when you do, you'll be thrilled even though you're still young. If you watch the anime, you can see a little bit of it in episodes 11 and 12, so don't miss it!
