Lloyd Forger ①
The protagonist of this work, his true identity is a skilled spy for WISE, a Western organization conducting intelligence activities in the Eastern Kingdom, where the story is set. His code name within the organization is Tasogare. He abandoned his real name upon becoming a spy, and sometimes refers to himself as Tasogare, a play on his code name. His reason for becoming a spy stems from his own history as a war orphan, and his desire to create a world where children like himself would never cry. As a spy, he excels in combat ability, memory, and information processing, and is adept at disguise, using different faces and names for each mission. He is assigned a new mission, Operation Strix, to approach and spy on Donovan Desmond, the head of the National Unity Party in the East, who threatens peace between East and West. To do this, he needs to infiltrate Eden School, where his son attends... and get married and have children.
Lloyd Forger 2
After Operation Strix was launched, Lloyd rented a house under the false identity of Lloyd Forger, who works at Balint General Hospital. He then took Anya in from an orphanage and had her take the entrance exam for Eden School. After somehow passing, he faced a three-way interview, meaning he needed a wife. Having received data on an unmarried woman, Lloyd headed to a clothing store to buy clothes for Anya. There, he met Yoru, one of the women in the data. With Anya's help, their interests aligned, and after some troubles, they decided to become husband and wife.
Yoru Forger①
On the surface, she's a clerk at Balint City Hall. Her true identity is a skilled assassin belonging to the eastern country's secret organization, "Garden." As an assassin, she goes by the pseudonym Sleeping Beauty. She's 27 years old, and her name before marrying Lloyd was Yoru Briar. She lost her parents at a young age and became an assassin to support her younger brother, Yuri Briar, who is seven years younger than her. Her formal attire as an assassin is a little black dress, knee-high boots, and she mainly wields a nail-like dagger, but she also has high combat abilities, surpassing Lloyd in terms of pure physical ability. She is also resistant to poison, and even if she ingests a lethal dose of poison (tetrodotoxin), her movements are only slightly slowed.
Yoru Forger 2
Although she's a skilled assassin, she has a very naive personality, often falling into delusions without any context. Despite her job requiring psychological manipulation, she's also a poor liar. She's also often the target of jealousy due to her good looks, and is treated somewhat like an outsider at city hall. One day, she was looking for someone to play the role of Yuri's lover to put her at ease at a party. Unable to admit that the lie she blurted out on the spur of the moment was a lie, she began searching for someone to lie to. While searching, she encountered Lloyd and Anya. Their interests coincided, and after some trouble along the way, they decided to continue their fake family life.
Anya Forger ①
The eldest daughter of the Forger family, Anya possesses the psychic ability to read minds. Originally created as part of an experiment by a certain organization, she was held as Subject 007, but eventually escaped the facility. After her escape, she was placed in an orphanage and was once placed in foster care, but was eventually returned. This happened four times in total. Her family, who were creeped out by her mind-reading abilities, decided to help her. While living at the orphanage, Anya met Lloyd, who had come looking for a child for Operation Owl. Anya became curious about Lloyd's mind and made a strong appeal to him, leading to his safe adoption. She then went on to take the exam for the prestigious Eden School.
Anya Forger 2
Her actual age is 4.5, but she lies about being 6 for the exam. While her mind-reading abilities make her appear sharp, she's actually quite naive for someone her age, so she's not particularly intelligent. As a result, her grades at school are often ranked near the bottom. She has a curious personality, and the reason Lloyd and Yor decided to become a fake couple was because she thought it would be fun to have a mother who is an assassin and a father who is a spy. However, she is also a good-natured girl at heart, caring for others and helping Lloyd when she learns that his mission will lead to peace between the East and the West.
Bond Forger
Bond Forger is the family dog. For such a family, this pet is no ordinary dog. He has the ability to predict the future. However, he has no ability to communicate this to others. The only one who knows is Anya, who can read other people's minds. By reading Bond's mind, he can share the information. Therefore, Bond himself appears to be aware of her abilities. Anya saves him when he is about to be turned into a bomb dog by terrorists. Anya senses through Bond that Lloyd is in danger and they rush to help. After these events, Bond is welcomed into the Forger family.
