A skilled spy father, an assassin mother, a psychic daughter, a pet that can predict the future. One of the great attractions of this work is that people with secrets they cannot tell anyone become a family and live together. However, the Forger family is not the only fascinating character. SPY×FAMILY has much more to offer than just the main characters, with an informant disguised as a friend, a younger brother who is a secret police officer, a school dorm supervisor with elegant charm, and a dangerous son who threatens peace between East and West. In this article, we will introduce characters other than the Forger family.
People Associated with the Eastern Kingdom (Ostania)
Edgar
This is the disguised Edgar Lloyd, who appeared in the first episode. He is a hardliner against the Western Kingdom, and used an informant to gather evidence to bring down the Eastern Kingdom's foreign minister, who is a conciliatory advocate. The evidence turned out to be highly classified information, revealing that the foreign minister was wearing a wig. However, his plan failed when Lloyd, in disguise, took a photograph during a deal with the informant. It seemed they would have no further involvement after the mission was completed, but a commotion occurred after Lloyd took Anya. This incident will be explained in Volume 1. It has also been revealed that he has a daughter named Karen.
Franky
Lloyd's accomplice. He has an afro hairstyle, and Anya calls him "shaggy." He ostensibly runs a tobacco shop in Balint, but he supports Lloyd by gathering information and forging documents. He is single and looking for a girlfriend, and envies Lloyd for having a family. While he can be jealous and tease Lloyd, he is also very caring, and even babysits Anya when Lloyd and Yoru are on a date.
Yuri Briar
Yuri is Yor's younger brother, 20 years old. With Yor's support, he pursued an elite career and earned a job at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, a year ago, he was transferred to the National Security Agency, where he is currently cracking down on spies rampant in the Eastern Kingdom (Ostania). At the start of the story, he is tracking Lloyd, who is in his Twilight state. He is a severe sister complexion and loses his mind when it comes to his sister, and will believe any lame excuse. He is wary of Lloyd, who is married, but is unaware that he is in his Twilight state. Conversely, he was discovered to be a National Security Agency employee. However, he has not revealed his work for the National Security Agency to Yoru.
Donovan Desmond
Donovan Desmond is the man responsible for the launch of Operation Strix and the president of the National Unity Party. He is a cautious person who rarely appears in public, only occasionally attending regular social gatherings at Eden School, where his son attends. For more details, please see the articles on the East and West Kingdoms.
Shinonome
Shinonome is a self-proclaimed spy hired by George, a student at Eden School (discussed later), out of spite. He was an overconfident, attention-seeking individual, and even had the code name "Twilight," a name he chose himself in a spirit of rivalry with the famous Lloyd. Naturally, he was a third-rate spy, and the mission George had assigned him ended in failure at the hands of Lloyd.
Dominic
He is an employee at Balint City Hall. He is in a romantic relationship with Camilla. At work, he helps with harassment by female employees who are harsh on Yoru. He is also acquainted with her younger brother, Yuri.
Camilla
Dominic's girlfriend and Yoru's junior. She is hostile towards her senior, Yoru, and frequently makes sarcastic remarks and complains. On the other hand, she also has a caring side, such as teaching Yoru how to cook, even though she doesn't know how.
Millie
Like Camilla, she is Yoru's junior. While she isn't as sarcastic as Camilla, she often says insensitive things to Yoru.
Sharon
Sharon is also Yoru's junior. Her son is taking the entrance exam for Eden School. She often scolds Millie for her insensitive remarks toward Yoru, but secretly she also looks down on Yoru.
Keith Kepler
A student at Balint University, he becomes the leader of a xenophobic group. He plots to undermine the East-West peace process, plotting a terrorist attack using the nefarious method of tying a bomb to a dog. However, the Forger family and WISE intervene, foiling his plan and leading to his arrest.
People Associated with the Western Kingdom (Westania)
Sylvia Sherwood
Sylvia Sherwood is a female WISE administrator nicknamed the "Full Metal Lady" for her unwavering dedication. She is Lloyd's superior. In the Eastern Kingdom (Ostania), she works as a diplomat at the embassy, issuing orders to Lloyd in her spare time. Having experienced the East-West War, she strives to maintain the status quo, maintaining peace despite the Cold War. It is known that she had a daughter about the same age as Anya, but her status is unknown.
Fiona Frost
She works as a clerk at Balint General Hospital, but her true identity is an intelligence agent affiliated with WISE. Her code name is Tobari. She desires to be involved in Operation Strix because she wants to become Lloyd's wife. Because of this, she harbors a rivalry toward his current wife, Yor, and is always considering taking over his position if the opportunity arises. However, Anya, who can read minds, is very wary of her. She is also very caring and has even taught Yor how to cook, even though she doesn't know how.
Eden School Staff (Teachers)
Henry Henderson
He teaches history, and is a handsome 66-year-old man. He places great importance on tradition and elegance, even demanding elegance from examinees during entrance exams. He also has a fiery side, as seen when he punched Murdoch during interviews for constantly asking rude questions about the Forger family. The Forger family subsequently failed the entrance exam, but were accepted as alternates and successfully enrolled.
Walter Evans
He teaches Japanese and is 52 years old. He has a gentle, honest, and sincere personality, earning him the trust of both teachers and students. Anya also describes him as a kind person. He interviewed the Forger family during the entrance exam.
Mardox One
Mardox is 47 years old and teaches economics. He is the only son of the former principal of Eden School and is a scapegoat for his father, the principal. He uses his father's influence as a shield and is so mean that his wife and daughter abandoned him. He vents his frustrations by asking almost harassing questions during his entrance interview. He also displays this same anger when questioning the Forger family, bringing Anya to tears. As a result, Lloyd and Yor become enraged and leave the room. He is then punched in the face by Henderson.
Eden School Associates (Students)
Damien Desmond
Donovan Desmond's second son, Damian, is in the same class as Anya, Year 1-3. Anya calls him "Hajinan." He's a bully, relying on Donovan's influence to act all high and mighty, and has had a following since entering the school. While Damian is a typical bully, he's also a hard worker who works tirelessly to earn Donovan's approval. Initially, he bullied Anya, but after being beaten by her, he begins to show concern for her.
Becky Blackbell
Anya's friend and classmate. Her parents are CEOs of a major military company and have ties to the Desmond Group, led by Desmond. At first, she treats Anya like a gofer, but after Anya punches Damien for stepping on Becky's foot, they become close.
George Gruman
Anya's classmate. His father's pharmaceutical company, Gruman Pharmaceuticals, is acquired by the Desmond Group. While it was actually a friendly acquisition, George mistakenly believed he would be expelled from Eden and lose his home. He hires the aforementioned spy, Shinonome, to falsify the Desmond brothers' exams, but thanks to Lloyd's help, his attempt fails. He later realizes he was mistaken and is left humiliated.
