"Since I'm a Villainess, I Tried Raising the Last Boss," affectionately known as "Akuras," is being made into an anime. It is a story about a reincarnated villainess in the Narou genre who struggles to avoid the flags of ruin. The story unfolds with a heroine with a completely different charm from Katarina from "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!", which was previously made into an anime. In this article, we would like to introduce the artists who created this story.
About Sarasa Nagase, the author of "Aku-Las"
The author, Sarasa Nagase, was born on May 26th and currently lives in Kyoto City. She made her debut as an author in 2013 with "The Spirit Song of Dreaming Vegetables ~My Grandfathers' Clock~" (the title was changed to "The Spirit Songist and the Dreaming Vegetables" when it was published), and at the same time won the Encouragement Award and Reader's Award at the 11th Kadokawa Beans Novel Awards. "Because I'm a Villainess, I Tried Raising the Last Boss" was published in 2017 and is complete in 9 volumes. She is currently writing several more, but "The Restarting Lady is Conquering His Majesty the Dragon Emperor" is a noteworthy work that has also been adapted into a comic.
Is she good at other worlds and romantic comedies?
"Because I'm a Villainess, I Tried Raising the Last Boss" was serialized on Let's Become a Novelist. She has written seven works on Narou, including completed works, but all of them contain other world and romantic comedy elements, and many of them end with a happy ending. Perhaps this is where the author's preferences are reflected in her works. According to her, "I think I'm thinking about it, but I'm not thinking about anything."
About the character designer, Ms. Mai Murasaki
Ms. Mai Murasaki originally worked for a consumer game company while also working on illustrations for books, but in 2017 she became a freelance illustrator, working on cover illustrations, illustrations, character designs, and more, mainly for novels. For "I'm a Villainess, So I Tried Raising the Last Boss," she was in charge of the cover illustrations and illustrations for the novels, and was in charge of the character design for the comics.
About the comic's author, Anko Yuzu
Anko Yuzu, who is in charge of the comic adaptation, has only two works so far, but she is a manga artist who has a reputation for her solid drawings and names, and we are looking forward to her future. One of her works is "Since I'm a Villainess, I Tried Raising a Last Boss," which brings out the charm of the characters well and is very easy to read. Another one is "The Do-Over Lady is Conquering His Majesty the Dragon Emperor," which she teamed up with Sarasa Nagase and is currently being serialized.
When will the comic "Aku-Last" resume?

The comic "I'm a Villain, So I Tried Raising a Last Boss" is completed in 3 volumes, but the content is the first volume of the novelization, and this anime adaptation is also expected to be within the scope of the comic. Since it was originally a well-received work, the comic may be resumed by the anime adaptation. There are nine volumes of the novelization, and Nagase Sarasa-sensei tweeted the above, so I would love to see it turned into a comic.
Summary

I've introduced the three creators of "Since I'm a Villainess, I Tried Raising the Last Boss." What did you think? The anime's official website lists the original author as Nagase Sarasa, the original illustrator as Murasaki Mai, and does not include Yuzu Anko-sensei. However, there is no doubt that the popularity of the comic contributed in no small way to the anime adaptation. As you can see from Nagase-sensei's tweets, he has great trust in Yuzu-sensei. You can also see this from the fact that he has asked Yuzu-sensei to write "The Do-Over Lady is Conquering His Majesty the Dragon Emperor." Nagase-sensei also commented that he is looking forward to the broadcast, so let's all look forward to the anime. Thank you for reading to the end.
