This work is about Leo and Mab, who are police officers, before Mab got his mechanical heart. Leo and Mab work at the police box. These two are described as colleagues, but they live together. Mab has to be naked when he cooks. And Leo eats the food Mab makes with gusto. Mab always tries to recreate a certain taste. The story depicts the daily lives of these two, but one day, a girl is found abandoned in front of the police station, riding on top of Sarah. Leo and Mab decide to raise the girl together. The girl is a baby who can only say "desshu." Since she had been abandoned on a plate, the two name the baby Sarah. Then, both of them become fathers and raise her.

Sarah seems to have a mysterious power. People who have committed crimes suddenly turn themselves in, she wins first prize in a lottery, and she can find her important hat that she dropped in the river. Leo and Mab also seem to be aware of Sarah's mysterious power. At the end of this story, Sarah suddenly turns into an adult, says that she has to go now, and leaves to a person who seems to be her father. And the faint shadow that appears may be Keppi. Just when you think this will lead to the main story, it turns out that it was actually a dream of the two of them that Sarah turns into an adult and leaves somewhere. As usual, baby Sarah is sleeping next to her.
Leo and Mab: The Secret of Ningyo-yaki
Whenever Mab eats delicious food, he wants to recreate the taste. One day, he receives some freshly made ningyo-yaki from a stall from an old lady at Nakamise. He immediately starts to recreate the ningyo-yaki. Mab tries using a waffle maker. However, it doesn't go well. Mab says that the sweetness is not deep enough. Leo also somehow says that the ningyo-yaki sold at the stall tastes better. So Leo and Mab decide to make a mold for the ningyo-yaki. However, they give up when they are told it will cost 300,000 yen. So they decide to get an old mold that the ningyo-yaki shop no longer uses. It was not shown here whether Mab was able to reproduce the taste of the ningyo-yaki, but from Leo's words in episode 9 of the anime, we can see that he successfully reproduced the taste of the ningyo-yaki.
