"Rent-A-Girlfriend" features many heroines. The fact that there are so many heroines for just one protagonist, Kazuya, means that there are plenty of memorable scenes, from thrilling scenes that are unique to harem stories to suspenseful scenes. So, today we'll be introducing some of those memorable scenes that you won't want to take your eyes off of!

A scene where Chizuru, who also cares about her grandmother, helps Kazuya

Chizuru Declares Herself as Rental

Kazuya's grandmother mistakenly believes Chizuru to be Kazuya's real girlfriend. She likes him, so she gets permission to leave the hospital (in reality, she just sneaks out quietly) and contacts Kazuya to arrange a meeting with Chizuru. Frantically, Kazuya asks Chizuru for help, but she immediately refuses, leaving him at a loss. Meanwhile, Kazuya's grandmother arrives at his house. An awkward moment passes when Chizuru doesn't show up, and the grandmother realizes that the two have broken up, but instead of getting angry, she expresses her gratitude to Chizuru. Chizuru, who had heard these words from the balcony, visits Kazuya's room with food. She pretends to be his girlfriend and gets through the situation. Afterwards, Chizuru says, "For Grandma's sake," and says she'll let him rent her out for just an hour on Wednesdays, declaring that she'll accompany him to his hospital visits every week as his girlfriend.

Episode 1: A fight breaks out between a rental girlfriend and an ex-girlfriend

Chizuru and Asami meet

One day, the two, who had agreed to rent a car for an hour every Wednesday to visit a sick person, headed to the hospital as promised. However, on the way, they bumped into Kazuya's friend. Impulsively, Kazuya introduced Chizuru as his girlfriend, and then got carried away and went to an izakaya after being invited there. There, he found his ex-girlfriend, Asami, waiting for him. A reunion with a new girlfriend right after a breakup is the worst possible scenario... Even more terrifying: Kazuya goes to the bathroom during their date, and when he returns, Asami has moved to the seat across from Chizuru... The rental girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend are sitting across from each other. Asami continues to ramble on about the bad things about Kazuya, who got a new girlfriend right after their breakup, in front of Chizuru. Chizuru is furious, and storms out of the restaurant. It's a terrifying scene, as Asami places her order with a smile, ignoring the panic of those around her.

Chizuru and Kazuya's first kiss?

Chizuru giving artificial respiration

Kazuya and Chizuru receive cruise ship tickets from Kibe as a way to reconcile. However, Chizuru, who was feeling unwell, lost her balance and fell off the cruise ship. Hearing the commotion, "A girl has fallen," Kazuya panicked and dove off the ship. He managed to grab Chizuru's body and try to save her, but instead of saving her, he ended up drowning himself. At first, Chizuru thought she had simply collapsed on the rocks where she had washed up, but she showed no signs of waking up and her heart stopped. Kazuya frantically performed CPR on her, but she remained awake, so he finally attempted to save her by performing artificial respiration. Was this his first kiss with Chizuru?

Of course, Kazuya's struggles are also there...

Kazuya dives into the sea

If things had continued this way, it would have seemed like Kazuya had jumped in to save her, but then drowned himself (lol). So, the scene where he jumps into the sea and embraces Chizuru with the words "Go. Fly. Save. My body screams before my heart" is Kazuya's highlight. Although he ended up drowning, the scene where he dives into the sea is a masterpiece, making extensive use of the page.

Ruka's Sudden Confession

Ruka Declares Her Girlfriend

His friend's girlfriend turns out to be a rental girlfriend. Perhaps due to a hunch as a fellow girlfriend, Ruka, upon seeing Chizuru introduced as his friend's girlfriend, immediately realizes she's also a rental girlfriend. At first, Kazuya follows Ruka around in an attempt to keep her quiet, even being treated like a stalker. But after he saves Ruka after she falls down the stairs, the roles are reversed, with Ruka cosplaying and coming to see Kazuya at university. Finally, when Ruka arrives at Kazuya's house, she becomes jealous when she finds out that Chizuru lives next door. She promises to keep quiet about their relationship and Chizuru's rental girlfriend, but adds, "Only if Kazuya will go out with me!" In the end, the two end up dating at Chizuru's suggestion.

The Uneasy Relationship Between a Rental Girlfriend and an Ex-Girlfriend

Chizuru and Asami

This scene is probably the biggest scene to date. Chizuru, who was requested by a customer named MAYA for her rental girlfriend job, arrived at the meeting place only to find Kazuya's ex-girlfriend, Asami, waiting there. The two entered the karaoke bar where Kazuya worked without giving any explanation for their business. Kazuya was on the verge of confessing his feelings to Ruka! However, upon realizing they were at the karaoke bar, he frantically checked on them. He handed them money and commanded them to sing karaoke in a domineering manner. He then turned to Chizuru and said, "Your fake smile, I'm just a little sick of it," and continued rambling on, creating a suspenseful scene.

This is horror!? An ex-girlfriend visits your home!

Asami Peeks Into the Room

This scene is reminiscent of a horror game. Chizuru, having lost her room key, visits Kazuya's apartment. She loses her balance on the balcony, leading to a lucky perverted encounter, when the intercom rings. Thinking there's mail, she peeks through the peephole and sees Asami... The two frantically hide from the sudden visitor. However, the front door is unlocked, so Asami opens it and enters. It seemed like all was lost... but Asami started pulling the trigger at the entrance and somehow managed to escape the crisis...

Asami noticed something on her way home

Asami playing with her smartphone

A sense of relief spread throughout Kazuya's house, and it seemed like the matter was resolved... but on her way home, Asami became suspicious of Kazuya, noticing that the lights had been left on and the door had been left unlocked, and she considered calling him. However, since I just happened to be passing by and had nothing in particular to do, I stopped by, thinking, "It's not worth calling..." Just then, a flashback flashed back to the room. Noticing a woman's bag there, I turned toward Kazuya's house. In the end, I never visited there again, but it was a scene that left me feeling somewhat terrified.
