Asami's Full Coverage of Kazuya on Page 4 of Volume 1 of the Manga
"By the way, I have a girlfriend. I repeat, I have a girlfriend!" Kazuya states this with a proud look on Page 1 of Volume 1 of the Manga. The first panel of the two-page spread features Asami in this pose. She says, "Sorry, I've fallen in love with someone else. Let's break up." Kazuya is so shocked by this sudden turn of events after only a month of dating that he can't sleep for two days and cries. Meanwhile, Asami has blocked Kazuya on Twitter and continues to live her life as usual.
Asami is indifferent to Kazuya after the breakup
A few days after their breakup, Asami and Kazuya meet for the first time in a long while at university. Kazuya drops his textbook when they bump into each other, but is captivated by Asami and freezes in place. He also wonders whether he should ask her why she's blocked him on Twitter. Ignoring Kazuya, Asami picks up the textbook with her usual smile and leaves with her friend. Later, her friend who was with her brings up the topic of Kazuya, her "ex-boyfriend," and says a lot of things to her, but she brushes it off with a "Oh, I see." Her friend laughs and calls her a sinful woman, acting as if it's none of her business, and she says "Oh, I see" again with a straight face. The frightening look in her eyes leaves her friends speechless and speechless.
Asami's dark side finally emerges
When Kazuya brings his new girlfriend, Chizuru, to a drinking party, Asami's dark side gradually begins to emerge... After the party, Kazuya protects Chizuru instead of himself, angering Asami. Asami suggests going to the beach together, but once alone, she starts tweeting using a secret account on her smartphone. "Is getting a girlfriend in a month a way to get back at me?", "How dare you defend me in front of me?", and "I'll definitely make you break up," she tweeted, sending out a series of terrifying tweets. After reuniting with Chizuru, her tweets escalated even further.
Ami will stop at nothing to break up the two.
"I'll definitely make you break up." Asami decided to make Kazuya break up, so instead of exposing his bad side at a drinking party, she decided to seduce him and get him interested in her. He begins reminiscing about their one-month relationship, kissing her while they were together, deciding what to name their children, and more... The climax comes when he calls her out to a secluded rocky spot and suddenly kisses her. He leaves with the cryptic words, "I just couldn't control myself any longer," and then says, "I'll just act normal in front of everyone," before leaving.
Is there something going on behind Asami's behavior...?
Up until this point, Asami has repeatedly made fun of Kazuya and tried to seduce him into breaking up with her, but it seems there's a reason behind her actions. While explaining why she started dating Kazuya, saying, "Anyone would have been fine, so I just found someone suitable," she murmurs, expressing her complicated feelings, "Why am I so obsessed with that guy...?" Then, her younger brother appears and tells her, "He's here," to which she replies, "Tell him I'll be there later." Her younger brother then responds, "You don't mean you found a girlfriend at university or anything, do you?" After kicking her brother out of the room and being left alone, Asami mutters, "I've decided I'm never going to fall in love again!" We don't know who "that person" is, but since she warned him, "My dad's gonna be mad" for treating her carelessly, it's possible she's his fiancée.
What did Asami do when she found out about rental girlfriends...?
Asami happens to bump into Kazuya and Sumi-chan on a date, and that's when she learns that Kazuya is using rental girlfriends. After learning everything, Asami's next move was to rent Chizuru out as a guest. She invited her to karaoke, gave her money, and made her sing. Up until this point, it seemed like a typical rental girlfriend experience, but the atmosphere was clearly awful. Afterward, Asami let Chizuru have her way, telling her, "Stop playing at being lovers," and when Chizuru passionately spoke about Kazuya, she responded, "You're annoying," showing her true self.

Once she's convinced of something, she charges ahead! When she realizes that Asami is Kazuya's ex-girlfriend, she insists she's his current girlfriend, bombarding her with accusations like, "You're the one who's still hung up on me," "You're over him already!!," and so on, leaving Asami no chance to respond. Even Asami is stunned by this and leaves the karaoke bar. After leaving the bar, Asami seems extremely annoyed, calling Ruka "that brat" and "mentally unstable."
