In 234 AD, Zhuge Liang (Kongming) died of illness at Wuzhang Plains. Having lost his former comrades, including Liu Bei, he too was on his way to heaven. Hoping to be reborn in a world where life no longer trades lives, he hoped for a new life. However, moments later, he woke up in his younger self on Halloween in modern-day Shibuya. Landing in the middle of a costume party, Kongming thought he was in hell. There, he was captivated by the voice of a young female singer dressed as a demon. That woman was none other than Tsukimi Eiko, the other main character.

Eiko Tsukimi worked part-time at a clubhouse while dreaming of becoming a world-class singer-songwriter. On a school trip, she was about to jump off a train platform when she was saved by Kobayashi, the owner of Clubhouse BB Lounge, where Eiko works at the start of the series. Hearing her performance at the Clubhouse, he saw American diva Maria Diesel. Listening to her song, Eiko regained her will to live, and she decided to pursue a career as a singer herself, striving to inspire others.

She has now moved to Tokyo and is living alone. Behind this lies her mother, who is opposed to her dream of becoming a singer-songwriter, and her father, who once aspired to become one but failed to achieve success and then disappeared. Eiko's mother, who is also a cram school teacher, tried to calm her down with sound reason and make her give up on her dream of becoming a singer-songwriter. However, in real life, Liu Bei suffered a terrible setback and died of illness, entrusting his future to Zhuge Liang. To put it simply, it begins with the murder of Guan Yu, with whom he had walked through life as a sworn brother. Then, as he prepares to mourn him and retake strategically important territory, Zhang Fei is killed. In the battle he seeks in despair, he suffers a devastating defeat unparalleled in history, and dies of illness without ever recovering. This is a fairly well-known story, and Shu Han is on the brink of collapse, but thanks to Master Zhuge Liang, it manages to recover. However, after Zhuge Liang's death, it ultimately falls to ruin.
