An anime adaptation of Amato's manga of the same name, "My Little Vampire" will begin airing in October 2018. This work is a comedy about living with a modern vampire, and its charm lies in its heartwarming daily life and the appearance of cute female characters. In addition, it is full of episodes unique to vampires, such as the life and worries unique to modern vampires. In this article, I would like to introduce my own ranking of the yuri developments of the characters that appear in "My Little Vampire".
10th place: Christmas party!

It's Christmas, so Amano Akari plans to throw a party at the house of Sophie Twilight, the vampire she lives with. Attending the party will be Ellie, who is also a vampire like Sophie, and Hinata Natsuki, Akari's childhood friend. Meanwhile, Hinata seems excited to spend Christmas with Akari. When she went to the supermarket with Akari to buy groceries, she blushed and said they looked like a married couple. When they exchanged gifts, she prayed in her heart that she wanted a gift from Akari, but she didn't get one. However, the gift she won from Ellie contained lipstick, and when she saw Hinata putting it on, Akari commented that Hinata looked pretty.
No. 9: Ellie declares her love!?

Ellie visits Sophie Twilight for the first time in 100 years. But Sophie doesn't seem very happy. So Amano Akari asks, "Aren't you happy to see your old friend?" to which Sophie replies, "We're not really friends." Continuing on, Ellie declares, "That's right, we're not just friends, we're lovers." Sophie responds, "Don't make excuses," but Ellie replies, "Oh, you're so embarrassed, it's cute." They've been friends for a long time, but it seems like their relationship was before they became lovers.
8th place: Handmade Valentine's Chocolate

Amano Akari, who lives with the vampire Sophie Twilight, has made a promise to make Valentine's chocolates with her friends at home. Akari's childhood friend, Natsuki Hinata, and her classmates Kurai Sakuya and Aoki Yuu come to the house. They work hard at making chocolates in a friendly atmosphere, each adding their own secret ingredient and discussing who they're going to give the chocolates to. When they're finally finished, the exchange begins. Sakuya, who seems to like Yuu, gives Yuu the chocolate she made best as a gift. After eating it, Yuu comments that Sakuya's chocolate is delicious, and Sakuya's cheeks break into a happy smile. This is a scene that shows the two of them getting along well.
7th place: Akari's open hostility

Amano Akari finds out that vampire Sophie Twilight has unknowingly become close with doujinshi author Ariake Mizuki. When Mitsuki came to Sophie's house, the two were having a friendly conversation because they share the same hobby. Seeing this, Akari seemed uneasy. She greeted Mitsuki and said, "We eat dinner together every day, watch TV together, comb our hair...we're really good friends." It was a rare scene where the usually warm and friendly Akari showed her hostility.
6th place: Ellie's excessive physical contact?

Ellie loves Sophie Twilight. She kisses her cheek, hugs her, strokes her head, and even pins her down on the sofa to suck her blood, which can be considered excessive skinship. Seeing Sophie's cold attitude, she remarks, "Sophie's cold because I haven't come to see her for 100 years and she's sulking?", and when Sophie tells her that it's outdated to eat with your fangs in someone's neck these days, she remarks, "Oh, maybe you're jealous? It's because I got close to another girl." She seems to have a lot of confidence in Sophie.
5th place: Natsuki Hinata gets a nosebleed just thinking about it

To enjoy the summer to the fullest, Amano Akari, Sophie Twilight, and Natsuki Hinata went to a summer festival. When Hinata visited Sophie and Akari's house, the two were wearing yukata. Just as she was about to head out, thinking that she would have liked to wear a yukata if she were more feminine, Akari said that she had made one for Hinata as well, so Hinata decided to change into her yukata as well. Hinata seemed embarrassed to wear a yukata that she hadn't worn since she was a child. However, she was happy that it was Akari who had made it for her. The three of them then went around the food stalls and enjoyed the fireworks on the way home. Akari said, "I want us to all come and watch the fireworks together next year, the year after, and the year after that forever," to which Hinata began to say, "That would be nice, forever...", and she began to wonder if by "forever" she meant that Akari would stay by her side for the rest of her life without getting a boyfriend, and she started to get a nosebleed. This scene shows Hinata's feelings for Akari, who is wholeheartedly devoted to him.
4th place: Tsundere Sophie Twilight

Ellie, who loves Sophie Twilight, is very attached to her. Ellie also has intense skinship, declaring herself her lover, hugging her, and poking her cheek. Sophie's expressions and actions show that she is not very happy about Ellie. Amano Akari even thinks that Sophie doesn't like Ellie very much, but in fact Sophie has a tsundere side to her. When Ellie came to visit Sophie's house for the first time in 100 years and stayed over, Sophie came back from her daily walk and couldn't find Ellie. She searched all over the house, but she just couldn't find her. Sophie thought to herself, "Ellie always appears and disappears on her own...I hate that about her. There were still things I wanted to talk about."
3rd Place: Christmas Just the Two of Us

Amano Akari, who lives with the vampire Sophie Twilight, seems excited to spend Christmas with everyone. She invites Ellie, a vampire like Sophie, and Akari's childhood friend, Natsuki Hinata, and is also planning to invite Akari's classmates, Kurai Sakuya and Aoki Yuu. Yuu suggests to Sakuya that they spend Christmas together again this year. Sakuya smiles that she'll get to meet Yuu's sisters, but then Yuu tells her that her sister is having a party with her classmates and that her parents are going out. Sakuya's heart suddenly starts pounding, thinking that it'll be just the two of them on Christmas. Sensing this from the two, Hinata stops inviting Sakuya and Yuu so as not to get in their way.
Second place: Caring for Akari

One day, Amano Akari caught a cold. Sophie Twilight, a vampire who lives with Akari, was unsure of how to respond to someone who had a cold. Coincidentally, Ellie, also a vampire, happens to drop by the house, but having slept for 100 years, her knowledge is out of date. Sophie contacts Akari's childhood friend, Natsuki Hinata. When Akari tells her she has caught a cold to ask her a question over the phone, the call is cut off and she rushes over to the house. Hinata and the others peel apples and take care of her. As they do this, Akari worries that she might catch the same cold. Hinata then thinks that if she catches the cold from Akari, then Akari will be able to take care of her, and tells her that it will be fine. This is a scene that really shows Hinata's devotion to Akari.
1st Place: Akari and Sophie, a Night Date

When Sophie was about to go out for her daily evening walk, Amano Akari told her that she wanted to go with her. The two enjoy their walks, walking around the neighborhood, passing by the path where Hinata Natsuki, Akari's childhood friend, walks her dog, and going to the school rooftop. Akari then says that she wants to go to the forest where she first met Sophie, and so they head down into the forest. However, it is dark in the forest, and Akari loses sight of Sophie. Sophie returns to the anxious Akari, gently reaching out her hand and holding it. Akari seems happy to see Sophie like that, and says cheerfully, "I want to keep walking like this for hours."
