"Yuru Camp" is a popular anime that depicts the daily lives of high school girls who love camping. In this work, a variety of unique characters appear who share a common interest: their love of camping.

The story revolves around the "Outdoor Activities Circle," commonly known as "No-Kuru," at the high school where the characters attend. It's rare for a high school to have a club that does camping activities. This time, we will introduce all the members of the "Outdoor Activities Club".

1. Introduction to "No-Kuru"

"No-Kuru", which appears in "Yurucamp", is a high school club that mainly focuses on camping activities. It was founded by two high school girls who love camping, Ogaki Chiaki (Aki-chan) and Inuyama Aoi (Inuko). Later, when Nadeshiko transfers to the school and joins, the club begins to take action in earnest. With Rin-chan and Saito-san involved, they enjoy camping in various locations. Midway through the story, a new teacher, Toba Minami, nicknamed "Gubi-nee," becomes the club advisor, and the club starts to look like a proper club.
①The club room is really small

Since Outdoor Activities Circle was originally a club with only two members, Aki-chan and Inuko, they didn't have a proper club room and used a small room like a warehouse as their club room. Apparently, if the club had five members, they would be able to use a larger clubroom, but currently there are only three members, including Nadeshiko, and Rin-chan and Saito-san are on hold.
The clubroom is small, and members often complain about it, but it is sometimes a relief as it makes cleaning easier.
②Low budget

As Outdoor Activities Circle has a small number of members, it is naturally difficult to get the camping gear we need. Sometimes we have to pay for it ourselves or use cheap gear that is of questionable quality, and it's a constant struggle.
Sometimes we have the spirit of being creative and not spending money, such as trying to substitute everyday items for camping gear that we don't have.
2. Introducing the members of the Outdoor Club

Now that we've given a basic introduction to the Outdoor Club, we'd like to introduce each of the members of the Outdoor Club one by one. The members of the Outdoor Club are basically the three who have joined the club, Nadeshiko, Aki-chan, and Inuko, and the advisor, Gubi-nee, but we'll also be introducing Rin-chan and Saito-san, who have both been camping together, for a total of six people.
3. Kagamihara Nadeshiko

Kagamihara Nadeshiko is one of the main characters of this work. At the beginning of the story, after moving to Yamanashi Prefecture, she wants to see Mt. Fuji up close, so she rides her bike to Lake Motosu alone, but ends up falling asleep on a bench and unable to return home. After meeting Rin-chan there and going camping, she discovers the charm of the outdoors and decides to join the Outdoor Club.
① Loves to eat and has a strong appetite

Nadeshiko's most distinctive feature is that she loves to eat. Whether she goes camping or in her daily life, her appetite never fades, and if there's something delicious in front of her, she'll eat it all up with a happy look on her face. The amount of food she eats often surprises those around her. For example, when she and Rin-chan went camping together and made a "Dan Dan Gyoza Hotpot," Nadeshiko ate up almost all of the 50 gyoza that were in the pot.
Rin-chan commented that she "eats with relish," and it could be said that Nadeshiko's eating scenes best represent her character.
②She has had some tough dieting experiences in the past...

Nadeshiko loves to eat, but that caused her to gain weight in middle school. When she was in her third year of middle school, she decided to go on a diet, and it is said that she would cycle around Lake Hamana every day during summer vacation.
Therefore, she naturally has physical strength, and can cycle to Lake Motosu and walk long distances with ease, even carrying heavy luggage.
③ Physically strong and energetic

Nadeshiko has a fair amount of physical strength, having undergone a brutal diet in the past. Whenever she goes camping, she brings along a portable stove and a pot, which are not portable, so she is heavily equipped, but she is seen walking with more energy than anyone else, and seems to have bottomless stamina.
She also manages to keep up with a tough schedule, going camping with Rin-chan after going camping with "No-Kuru." Aki-chan describes this as a "strong style."
④ Good at cooking

Nadeshiko loves to eat, but she is also good at cooking, and she shows off her skills every time she goes camping. Her cooking skills are so good that she awakens Rin-chan, who always eats curry noodles, to the charm of camping food. She always brings cooking tools such as pots and portable stoves to the camp, and makes luxurious dishes that are not often eaten at camping.

Nadeshiko seems innocent and acts straightforwardly according to her feelings, but she is surprisingly good at being considerate. It was impressive to see how Nadeshiko deepens her friendship with Rin-chan, who likes solo camping, without forcing herself to get too close, and while checking her facial expressions, she does so.

Nadeshiko has a bright and honest personality, but people around her think that her behavior is "dog-like." She is straightforward about what she likes, and when something fun happens, she jumps straight for it, just like a dog.
4. Ogaki Chiaki (Aki-chan)

She is one of the members who founded the Motosu High School club "Outdoor Club" and serves as the club president. She is characterized by her glasses and twin tails, and works hard every day to make Outdoor Club bigger than just a club. He has a high-tension attitude, but Rin-chan doesn't like him for that.
① He has masculinity and leadership

Aki-chan, who is the captain of the Outdoor Activities Club, often takes on a leadership role that brings the members together, and is also a leader who leads everyone. However, since the members are only laid-back people such as Nadeshiko and Inuko, Aki may just look like a leader, but she sometimes makes manly remarks and leads others.
② When she thinks of something, she immediately takes action

Aki-chan is the type of person who takes action immediately when she thinks of something. He is quick on his feet and puts ideas into action right away, like when he happens to come across some skillet cooking at a campsite and is so impressed that he immediately buys a skillet, or buys some wooden tableware to create a stylish camping experience.
③Working part-time at a liquor store

She works part-time at a liquor store to buy camping equipment. It is said that Toba-sensei often visits the store, and the staff nicknames her "Gubi-nee" (Sister Gubi) because she buys a set of six cans of beer every day.
④ Repeatedly managing with a small budget

In order to somehow go camping with a small activity budget, they search for cheap equipment and try to find substitutes with everyday items every day. Some of them put their bodies on the line and wrap aluminum foil and cardboard around their summer sleeping bags to use them in winter, showing signs of hard work.
5. Inuyama Aoi (Inuyama Aoi) Inuko

One of the founding members of Outdoor Activities Circle along with Aki-chan. A character with a gentle Kansai accent. She has thick eyebrows and double teeth, and watches over everyone around her from an older sister-like position.
①I like tall tales

Inuko sometimes tells lies that sound real, confusing Nadeshiko and Aki-chan. Sometimes she actually believes them. For example, when talking about why there are so many soba and udon restaurants in mountainous areas, she lied and said that the name "soba udon" comes from "soba cormorant bowl," a rice bowl made with cormorants that were raised on buckwheat, confusing everyone.
② Working part-time at a supermarket cash register

To raise funds for the Outdoor Activities Circle, she works part-time as a cashier at a supermarket. Next to the supermarket "Zebra" where Inuko works part-time is the liquor store where Aki works part-time.
③ Surprisingly Nice Body

In episode 11, "Christmas Camp!", the members who went on a Christmas camping trip eat a luxurious sukiyaki at night. It was Inuko who brought the high-quality meat used for the sukiyaki. In fact, she had won A5-grade high-quality meat in a prize she entered just before the Christmas camp, and she brought it with her so that everyone could enjoy it.
6. Toba Minami - Gubi-nee

A new female teacher who was appointed to Motosu High School, where the main characters attend. At first, she had a negative impression of being a club advisor, but after becoming the advisor for the Outdoor Activities Club, she has been proactively accompanying the students on camping trips.

She usually looks beautiful and kind, but she is a big fan of alcohol, and drinks alcohol not only when camping, but in everyday life as well. The liquor store she frequents has even given her the nickname "Gubi-nee." Also, when camping, she puts rum in her cocoa and regrets forgetting to bring alcohol that goes well with camping food at home.

Due to her parents' influence, she has been camping since she was a child. Although she doesn't go that deep into it herself, she often accompanies her sister on camping trips and always seems to be completely drunk at the campsite.

7. Shima Rin (Shimarin) Rin-chan

One of the main characters of this work. She mainly enjoys solo camping by herself. She avoids working with the Outdoor Activities Club because she doesn't get along with them, but perhaps due to Nadeshiko's influence, she is gradually becoming aware of the appeal of group camping. She has been camping alone since she was in middle school, and is the character with the longest camping experience among the members.
① I like solo camping in the winter

Rin-chan's camping style is mainly solo camping at deserted campsites in the winter off-season. She likes spending quiet time with no one around. Perhaps because she has a unique way of enjoying camping, she often comes across situations that are said to be "minority killing."

After being impressed by the deliciousness of the camping food she ate while camping with Nadeshiko, she started to try real cooking, even though she had only eaten instant noodles up until then. In the story, she makes one camping meal after another that makes you want to copy her, such as soup pasta and pork bun hot sandwiches.
③Have a scooter license

After entering high school, she got a moped license and started going camping on a scooter. Thanks to the scooter, she can now go to campsites outside of Yamanashi Prefecture, expanding the scope of her camping experiences, but she also occasionally encounters road closures and other troubles.
④ Working part-time at a bookstore

Because she loves reading, she works part-time at a bookstore in addition to being a member of the school library committee. She spends her salary on camping, buying new camping equipment and eating on the road.

It is said that Rin-chan started camping because of her grandfather. Rin-chan's grandfather is a genuine camper who travels around the country on his motorcycle, and it seems that he was influenced by camping with him when he was young.
8. Saito Ena (Saito Uena) Saito-san

A friend of Rin-chan, she often exchanges messages with Rin-chan on social media when they are at the campsite. She doesn't often accept invitations to join camping, but she does go camping on a whim, such as participating in Christmas camps.

He often gets behind Rin-chan and arranges her hairstyle in a quirky way. Sometimes he does it while Rin-chan is sleeping, so Rin-chan attracts attention from those around her without realizing it.

Although she has the shortest camping experience among the members of Nokuru, the camping gear she uses is luxurious and top-notch, and is the envy of the other members.
