Kouan Campground was the model for the campground where Rin and Nadeshiko first met in the first episode of Yuru Camp△. This campsite is located on the shores of Lake Motosu, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, and offers a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji reflected in its waters. While the season in Laid-Back Camp△ is winter, you can also enjoy water activities such as windsurfing on the lake in summer. There are two campsites, one on the lakeside and one in the woods, so everyone can enjoy it in their own way, and it's recommended for solo campers. Of course, you can also go with friends.

This is also the model for the campground that appeared in Yuru Camp△. In Laid-Back Camp△, the name is "Hotkeya," but originally it was "Hottarakashi." At Hottarakashi Onsen, you can bathe while looking out at the Yamanashi Basin. There is also a campsite, and the night view of the city with Mt. Fuji in the background is a beauty not found in other towns. Delicious food awaits at the shop at Hottarakashi Onsen. This is a campsite that will warm both body and soul.

After Mt. Fuji, how about the Japanese Alps in Nagano? Inaka no Kaze Campground is a unique site that takes advantage of the terraced rice fields, offering spectacular views from above. Of course, there's plenty of space for large tents, so it's perfect for family camping. Camping surrounded by the Alps offers a different view than camping around Mt. Fuji. Its convenient access from the highway interchange is also not to be overlooked.

Enjoy camping while following the rules!

So far, we've introduced several campsites. Many people who have watched Yurukyan△ have been inspired to try camping, or perhaps even emulate Nadeshiko and her friends. However, there are some things to be aware of. Nadeshiko and her friends are camping in the winter. Without proper equipment and preparation, camping can lead to life-threatening accidents, just like the ones experienced by Chiaki and her friends in Volume 6 of the manga. Also, please be mindful of other campers and take your trash home with you. Why not start with a traditional summer camp?
