Nadeshiko Kagamihara
She is one of the main characters of the series, and it's no exaggeration to say that she is one of the most popular characters in the series and the main protagonist of the series. She has a lively personality and loves to eat, and she seems particularly bad at fighting her appetite. There are many scenes in the series where she struggles with her appetite but still manages to stuff her face with food.
Her interactions with Rin awaken her love for camping!!
This story begins with Nadeshiko, who had no interest in camping, awakening to it after a chance camping experience with Rin. Rin also seems to have enjoyed camping alone, but thanks to Nadeshiko's influence, she starts going camping with everyone, showing her true influence.
Belonging to an Outdoor Activities Club
After going camping with Rin, Nadeshiko became interested in camping and joined her high school's outdoor activities club. It's a club, even though it's high school! In the outdoor activities club (or Outdoor Activities Club for short), she met fun-loving friends like Chiaki and Aoi, and quickly became friends with them. In addition to these Outdoor Activities Club members, she also interacts with students outside the club, such as Rin and Ena, who she later discovers attend the same high school. She also works as a member of the Outdoor Activities Club.

Since "Yuru Camp△" is a series that primarily focuses on incorporating scenery and camping knowledge, it doesn't focus on character development that much, which is perhaps why she ended up with this character design.
Shima Rin
Shima Rin is also one of the main characters. The story begins with Rin camping with Nadeshiko, so she's a fairly important character. In contrast to Nadeshiko, who prefers camping with others, Shima prefers camping alone.
Changes Under Nadeshiko's Influence
Rin was a serious camper even before meeting Nadeshiko, but her interactions with Nadeshiko in the story show a significant change, including her involvement in outdoor cooking and camping with the members of the Outdoor Club. While initially a quiet, solitary character, she gradually begins to interact more with her friends and enjoy camping with them.

Although still a high school student, she has a moped license and rides a Yamaha Vino scooter. She mostly travels to campsites by scooter, and even when camping alone or with friends, she's a top-notch rider.

Ogaki Chiaki
She's the captain of the Outdoor Club, which includes Nadeshiko and Aoi. She's a striking character with glasses. She works part-time at a liquor store and likely has more money than Nadeshiko, but she's the most hungry character in the series, searching for affordable outdoor products in the Outdoor Club and even making her own.

In this series, she plays the role of the comedian, making her presence essential to the fun and light-hearted story progression.
Inuyama Aoi
She is also a founding member of the Outdoor Club along with Chiaki. She speaks a distinctive Kansai dialect and, like Chiaki, has a comedic side, regularly telling lies to the gullible Nadeshiko.
She also has a caring side for her younger sister
In the story, she seems to have a caring side, as seen when she accompanies her sister on a camping trip with the Outdoor Club. Like Aoi, her younger sister is also a braggart, and there are scenes where the two of them trick Nadeshiko, demonstrating their impressive teamwork.
Saito Ena
A character who is close with Rin. At first, she had no interaction with the Outdoor Club, but she begins to interact with them in Rin's place, as she is unable to be proactive with the Outdoor Club. Like Nadeshiko, she originally had no interest in camping, but through her interactions with the Outdoor Club, she becomes interested in camping.
Ena's beloved dog is Chikuwa
Ena has a dog named Chikuwa, and she dotes on him, taking him camping trips with her and even buying him a complete set of camping gear. The entire set of camping gear apparently cost about 35,000 yen, which surprised the other members.

She has a gentle side, such as when she brings Rin and the Outdoor Club together. However, she also has a rather mischievous side, as seen when she secretly tweaks Rin's hairstyle after threatening her during Chiaki's haircut.
Minami Toba
She is the advisor for the Outdoor Club. She met Nadeshiko and Rin once before coming to the main characters' high school. She is a heavy drinker and is so drunk that she stumbles when she first appears in the scene.
Reluctant at First
She was initially reluctant to take on the role of club advisor because it meant she would no longer be able to enjoy heavy drinking, but she was forced to become the Outdoor Club advisor. Although she was initially reluctant, her interactions with the Outdoor Club members and her fondness for camping in general led her to proactively decide on camp dates and locations, and take on advisory duties.
Actually, She's My Little Sister
When she first appears, Nadeshiko and Rin mistakenly think she's sitting with a handsome, refreshingly handsome guy. However, it's revealed midway through the story that she's actually the handsome-looking guy's younger sister, and doesn't have a boyfriend. There's a scene in the story where the younger sister calls her older sister to show her concern, and while it goes without saying that they were camping together, the two sisters seem to have a good relationship.

These are Rin's family members. They play an important role in the story, often portraying family gatherings at Rin's home.
Shima Saki
She is portrayed as a fairly calm character in the Shima family, and is often seen as a mother. However, it is later revealed that she was also a rider. While the photo of her as a rider is never shown in the story, she said, "I can't show this to Rin."
Shima Wataru
This is Rin's father. While Nadeshiko's father looks like the typical old man, Rin's father wears glasses and is portrayed as a more calm and collected father. He also rides a moped to work, so it seems he has inherited the rider blood of his grandfather.
Grandpa
Rin's grandfather. He's the one who inspired Rin to start camping. With his neatly trimmed white hair and white beard, he's a very dapper and cool-looking grandfather. As the head of the rider clan, he travels all year round on his motorcycle, so he doesn't appear often, but the scenes he does appear in are always cool, making him one of the most popular characters in the series.
The Kagamihara Family
Nadeshiko's family. Family gatherings at the Kagamihara household often appear throughout the story. Her older sister, Sakura Kagamihara, in particular, has a deep relationship with Rin and is an important character.
Shizuka Kagamihara
Nadeshiko's mother. She hasn't had many screen time in the anime, but her appearances will likely increase in Season 2. She wears glasses and is more like Sakura than Nadeshiko. Like Nadeshiko, she has a cheerful personality. She also seems to have a loose tongue, as seen in her revealing Rin and Sakura's secret to Ena.
Kagamihara Shuuichirou
Nadeshiko's father. He seems to be understanding of her hobbies, as he gives her pocket money in exchange for souvenirs when she goes camping.
Kagamihara Sakura
Nadeshiko's older sister. She has such beautiful looks that Rin calls her beautiful when they first meet. She often shows her caring side, such as when she drives her car when Nadeshiko and Rin go camping. Like Rin, she seems to enjoy traveling alone, and the two seem to have a lot in common when it comes to solo travel.
