"Yuru Camp△" is a story that depicts the daily lives of high school girls who love the outdoors. I'm sure many people became addicted to camping when it was made into an anime. The appeal of "Yuru Camp△" is that it introduces a wide range of ways to enjoy the outdoors with its characters, but among them, the camp meals eaten in nature make you want to eat just by looking at them.

So, this time we will introduce some delicious camp meals that appeared in the anime "Yurucamp△". I hope you will remember the anime and think, "I remember these meals."

1. Currymen

This is the camping meal that appeared in episode 1, "Mr. Fuji and Currymen." Nadeshiko, who has transferred to a school in Yamanashi Prefecture, rides her bike from her home to Lake Motosu to see Mt. Fuji, but falls asleep as soon as she arrives. Then Rin-chan, who has come for a solo camping trip, sees her. Nadeshiko, who overslept and couldn't get home, turned to Rin-chan in tears. This was their first meeting.

Rin-chan couldn't bear to see her so she shared the curry noodles she had brought with her with her.

Camping is all about cup ramen, right?

I don't know why, but when you think of campsites, you think of cup noodles. It's easy to make, just boil water and you can make it even if you're a beginner.

Eating instant noodles in nature feels several times more delicious than usual. Perhaps this is the so-called "eating outside effect."

2. Dandan dumpling hotpot

In episode 3, "A relaxing hotpot camp with Mt. Fuji," Nadeshiko appears at Rinchan's solo camping trip at the foot of Mt. Fuji to thank him for treating her to curry noodles.

When Nadeshiko arrives at the campsite, she brings along a portable stove and a pot, and uses Hamamatsu dumplings to make tantan gyoza hotpot to warm up her cold winter body.

You might not think of eating hot pot at a campsite, but if you're camping in the cold season, such as winter, you'll want to eat hot pot. The good thing about hot pot is that it's easy to make as long as you have a portable stove and a pot.

The tantan gyoza hotpot is a slightly spicy hotpot with a lot of gyoza, so it will warm up your cold body.

3. Borsch

In episode 4, "No-Kura and Solo Camp Girl," while the three members of No-Kura are going on their first winter camping trip, Rin-chan is also planning a solo camping trip on the same day. Rin-chan has obtained a moped license and can now go to campsites far away. At a restaurant along the way, she eats borsch, something she normally wouldn't eat, thanks to the money she's earned from her part-time job.

When camping, not only the food you eat at the campsite, but also the food you eat along the way and at local restaurants and cafes will be memorable. At times like these, you'll want to eat food you don't usually eat.

If you've watched "Yuru Camp△", you'll probably want to eat borsch if you see it on the way to camp.

In episode 5, "Two Camps, Two Views", Nokuru and Rin-chan were camping in different places on the same day. They each enjoyed camping in their own way and ate their meals.

At the Outdoors Club camp, Nadeshiko enjoys a stewed curry that she has put her heart and soul into.

Stewed curry is made a little differently than regular curry. It is made by simmering pre-cut ingredients in hot water with roux dissolved in it. In addition, in "Yuru Camp△", powdered soup from "Bag Tonkotsu Ramen" was added as a secret ingredient. By adding this, it becomes a tonkotsu-flavored curry. Why don't you try it too?

5. Soup Pasta

At campsites, soup pasta is recommended because there is no boiling water. It's easy to make, just fry the ingredients in olive oil and garlic, add water, consommé, and pasta, and simmer. All you need is one pot to make it, so it's easy to make while camping.

In episode 4, "Outdoor Club and Solo Camp Girl," the members of Outdoor Club continue walking the long way to the campsite, and the two members except Nadeshiko are exhausted, so they decide to take a bath in a hot spring along the way. After the hot spring, the members are unable to move as if their butts have taken root, but they finally decide to leave. I shouldn't eat it right before that, thinking about dinner, but I gave in to temptation and ate some fried egg.

Fried food sold at service areas on the highway or at places after walking a long distance looks very attractive. Ontama age, made by quickly deep-frying soft-boiled eggs, is crispy on the outside and has a soft, gooey yolk inside. If you come across it on the way to the campsite, you'll want to try it.

7. Roasted marshmallows

In fact, it was Rin-chan's grandfather, but this grandfather is a genuine camper who enjoys camping while traveling around Japan on his motorcycle.

The grandfather looked very stylish as he grilled meat in a skillet right in front of Aki-chan. When he noticed that Aki-chan was watching, he gave her some of the meat. Aki-chan was so impressed by how delicious the meat was that she decided to buy a skillet.

On the way, she ran into some trouble, such as getting stuck on a closed road, but with Nadeshiko and the others' help, she managed to arrive at the campsite.

What Rin-chan was planning to make at this campsite was this "Pork Bun Hot Sandwich".
