"Yuru Camp△" is a popular series that depicts the laid-back daily lives and relaxed outdoor activities of high school girls who love camping. Her thick eyebrows and slightly flared teeth are very cute. Not to be overlooked is her unbeatable figure, one of the best among the characters. She has big breasts, which is surprising for a high school student. She's truly everyone's big sister type character.

Aoi and Chiaki have been friends since at least middle school, with Chiaki playing the role of the funny guy and Aoi playing the straight man. They call each other "Aki" and "Inuko," and are often together in high school, even founding the Outdoor Activities Club together. However, Aoi often finds herself overwhelmed by Chiaki's energy and still finds herself at her mercy.

Before Christmas camp, Aoi was so lucky she won a prize of A5-grade Japanese Black Beef in a lottery. The sukiyaki made with such high-quality meat captivated everyone's hearts and stomachs. During Outdoor Activities Circle's first camping trip, even though she was tired, she headed straight for the sweets at the cafe at Fuefuki Park. When asked whether she wanted to go first, the campsite or the hot springs, she answered without hesitation, "The hot springs." Furthermore, after soaking in the hot springs, she buys a fried egg without hesitation, and then lies down and falls asleep, saying, "That's no good." She's honest about her desires.

Aoi sometimes tells lies as if they were the truth, making Nadeshiko and Chiaki believe them, and then lies by saying, "It's a lie." This leaves both of them confused. She even tells a meaningless lie about having a boyfriend, upsetting Chiaki. However, when she's telling a lie she's not confident about, she has a habit of wandering her eyes, which can sometimes give away her true feelings.

Aoi has a younger sister named Akari. Her younger sister also has thick eyebrows and distinctive buck teeth, and she looks so much like Aoi that you'd think she was a smaller version. The two sisters are close, and she calls her older sister "Aoi-chan." She is also acquainted with Chiaki, who calls her "Chibi Inuko." In contrast to her sister, she is a lively and active girl who often plays pranks on Chiaki, but like her sister, she also shows a responsible side, speaking politely to adults (such as Toba-sensei).

The members of Outdoor Club have names based on place names in Gifu Prefecture. These are Kakamigahara City and Ogaki City. Aoi also thought "Inuyama" was a place name in Gifu Prefecture. However, she was shocked when Chiaki pointed out that it was "just barely in Aichi Prefecture." Of the three, she's the only one whose last name isn't a Gifu place name. Incidentally, she claims to be from Gifu Prefecture, and she even calls herself a pear-like girl with a lying face, speaking in Kansai dialect, so it's still unclear which of these is true.

One of the founders of Outdoor Activities Club, while Chiaki is the action-oriented leader who leads the group, Aoi is the unsung leader who supports Chiaki and sometimes acts as a brake. Although she has a gentle, older sister-like presence, she also has a slightly off-kilter sensibility, which probably makes her a good fit for the Outdoor Club's vibe.
