Quest to Defeat Five Giant Toads in Three Days

One Giant Toad costs 5,000 Eris, the same price as the civil engineering work Kazuma and his friends did part-time when they arrived in the other world. It didn't seem like they were risking their lives, but Kazuma said it was, so it must have been a quest that wasn't worth it. This quest made Kazuma and his friends realize their own powerlessness and began recruiting allies.

Emergency Quest: Cabbage Harvesting!?

Cabbages are worth 10,000 Eris. The cabbages, thrashing about, refusing to be eaten, were powerful enough that even Kazuma could over-harvest them. Maybe they just go on a rampage and their stats stay the same as a cabbage. I had a feeling they'd get burned by Megumin's explosive magic, but I wonder if that's actually the case. Is it controlled properly?

Quest to Purify the Lake Source

The reward for purifying the water source was 300,000 eris. However, because the repair cost for the broken cage was -200,000, Aqua only received 100,000 Eris. She cried and pleaded with the lady at the quest reception desk, telling her that she wasn't the one who broke it, but of course it was to no avail. The cost of Aqua's trauma was only worth 100,000 Eris.

Quest to Defeat the Demon King's Executive, the Dullahan

The reward for defeating the Dullahan was 300 million yen, but the damage caused by Aqua's water magic was so great that they had to pay 340 million yen in damages, ultimately leaving them with a debt of 40 million yen. Normally, defeating a Demon King's executive would be met with congratulations, but KonoSuba! is strangely realistic in a way. Losing 40 million for defeating a Demon King's executive is just too much to bear. It almost makes you lose the motivation to defeat them again.

Snow Spirit Subjugation vs. Winter General Quest

The reward for defeating a Snow Spirit is 100,000 Eris per monster. While the Snow Spirits themselves aren't particularly strong, the Winter General that appears after defeating them possesses immeasurable combat power. Kazuma was killed by Winter Shogun, but Aqua showed her cheating side by forcing the goddess Eris to bring him back to life. By the way, it seems that if you beg for forgiveness by kneeling down and begging for it, you will be forgiven.

A Quest to Exterminate the Evil Spirits Living in a Mansion

This was an extraordinary quest, with the reward being the entire mansion. With the Archpriest Aqua, it was easy to complete, so I was able to get the mansion after only a few scary moments.

Destroyer Defeat Quest

Kazuma successfully defeated the Destroyer, despite facing his own life, but because the Destroyer teleported him to the lord's villa, he was accused of subversion. Kazuma's heroic deeds should be celebrated, but will he ever be rewarded?

Summary of the Quests Kazuma and His Friends Take

Looking at it this way, Kazuma's misfortune grows with each difficult quest he completes. He falls into debt, is accused of committing a crime, and suffers terrible experiences. It seems to me that Kazuma would be happier if he survived by completing easy quests or by simply harvesting cabbages. Of course, the party members who are looking for adventure would never forgive Kazuma for making such a choice, so we hope that he continues to have fun adventures.
