She's one of the main characters, a beautiful and intelligent girl who serves as the vice president of the student council. She's a real heir from a wealthy family. Kaguya Shinomiya falls in love with the student council president, Miyuki Shirogane, who is also a member of the same student council. However, due to her extremely high pride, Kaguya cannot bear to confess her feelings to him herself. She thinks, "If the president really wants me to, I'll do it." However, Shirogane himself has come to the exact same conclusion, and their battle shifts from "I'm willing to date him" to "How can I get him to confess?"

The title of the story is Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Their ultimate goal is literally to get Shirogane to confess his feelings to them, and they fight (and flirt) with him every day to achieve that goal. Both of them are dedicated, but those around them seem somewhat enlightened. Their battles vary, sometimes unconsciously winning and sometimes overthinking. "Wow, this guy has such a cute side to him!" "No, he's so cool!" They're battling it out in their heads. It's a heartwarming story that makes you think, "If you had a youth like that, school would be so much fun."
