He is a 15-year-old boy who attends a boarding school. His special skills are pickpocketing and putting his ear in someone's ear. He admires gangsters, but cannot accept that gangsters are peddling drugs in the city, so he wants to become a gangster and become a boss to rid the city of drugs. He is actually the son of Dio and a Japanese woman, and since Dio's body at the time was that of Jonathan Jostar from the neck down, he is also related to the Joestar family. His Japanese name is Shiobana Haruno, but he usually goes by his Italian name, Giorno Giovanna. He originally had black hair, but one day it suddenly turned blonde, and it is said that this was probably triggered by the activation of his Stand ability. Giorno's appearance is modeled after Michelangelo's David statue.
The reason why he admires gangsters

When he was a child, his mother remarried and he was abused by his new father, and he was bullied at school. At that time, he found a man lying on the ground covered in blood, and Giorno lied to the adults to help him. At this time, his Stand's power helped him, but at the time, he didn't understand Stand's power and thought it was a coincidence. From that day on, Giorno's father stopped hitting him, and his friends stopped bullying him. The person Giorno helped was a mafia member, who helped him from the shadows. Having learned to trust people from the mafia, the Jostar began to aspire to become a gangster.
Giorno's Dream and Fighting Style
Giorno's dream is to become a gang boss and create a city without drugs or assassinations, according to his own justice. Despite this, he is the protagonist who has had the fewest battles among the main characters of JoJo. He himself is often in a position of support, analysis, and resolution. Therefore, teaming up with Bucciarati and the others was a great opportunity to make use of his characteristics.
He was very popular

Giorno was very popular, and many women wanted to have dinner with him. However, he didn't seem to be interested in women, and he never paid them any attention, and he never had romantic feelings for anyone in the story. Also, there is something about his personality that attracts people, regardless of gender, so he was able to blend in with the members of Bucciarati's team.

Gold Experience

A stand with excellent speed and growth, it has the power to give life. When it hits matter, it can give birth to small animals or plants, and attacks against the creatures it gives birth to will return to the attacker. Also, when it hits a human, the person's senses go out of control, and the movements and pain of the people around it, including its own, appear to be in super slow motion. The first time it hit someone with Gold Experience was against Bucciarati, who ended up fighting after defeating the teary-eyed Luca. It can heal many injuries by creating damaged parts from objects and embedding them in the damaged area, but since this is just embedding and not healing, the pain seems to continue.

This stand is manifested when Gold Experience is pierced by an arrow. It has no information such as destructive power, speed, range, or endurance that is described in other stands, and has the ability to reset all of the attacker's movements and willpower to "zero." Furthermore, anyone hit by this Stand must die over and over again, infinitely, because even death returns them to "zero." It's a terrifying ability.
[JoJo's Bizarre Adventure] Golden Wind Part 5 Giorno Giovanna's Personality
Giorno is calm and trusts his friends
Giorno Giovanna is calm and very analytical. His actions are based on reason and conviction, which is the polar opposite of Mista, who acts from emotion in everything he does. When Bucciarati is shaken by the arm of a drug-using child during a battle, and when he is infected with Fugo's Stand virus, he deals with the situation calmly despite the risk to his life. On the other hand, he trusts his comrades and is willing to sacrifice himself for his goals. Just like when Fugo is infected with the virus, when an unknown Stand attacks the ship, he trusts Apacchio's abilities, which he has never seen before, and sacrifices himself to discover the Stand's true identity. (Later, Apacchio is also arrested, entrusting him to Bucciarati.)
Giorno Does Not Forgive Insults

Giorno successfully passes the entrance exam for the gang "Passione". Polpo, who is in prison, says that gangs do not tolerate insults. However, Giorno cannot forgive Polpo for killing an elderly cleaning worker during the entrance exam with Polpo's Stand, Black Sabbath, and kills Polpo for insulting the life of the sacrificed elderly man. As a descendant of the Joestar bloodline, he carries a sense of justice in his stories and wears it around him as if it were his own energy.
