Narancia Ghirga is a member of the gang "Passione" in this work, and is a good subordinate who trusts Bucciarati. Bucciarati also trusts Narancia's abilities, and will let him go shopping alone. Narancia has a friendly personality, and although he is by no means savvy, he is a character that you can grow to love. I would like to introduce Narancia to you today.

Narancia Ghirga is 17 years old. He has not received a proper education and is by no means a smart character. Even though Fugo teaches him math, he's not very good at it. He can't even remember the roads. Perhaps because he didn't have a good upbringing, he is quick to brandish a knife when angry. But despite that, Narancia is loved by everyone. Even when Fugo gets angry at him and Mista teases him, he seems to be living a fun life.

Actually, Narancia is older than Fugo, who is teaching him. But he doesn't care about that. Even when he thinks his chocolate has been stolen, when he realizes it's in his mouth, he smiles like this. He loves music, plays music without caring about the people around him, and suddenly starts dancing. He's a really lovable character.

Sad past and joining a gang

Narancia's past

Narancia lost his beloved mother and was not loved by his father at all as a child. He was accused by a friend of a crime he did not commit and sent to prison. He develops an eye disease and is released from prison, but wanders around in fear of death. At that time, two strangers, Fugo and Bucciarati, help him. Narancia wants to join a gang, but Bucciarati gets angry and doesn't allow it. However, he then takes the entrance exam without telling Bucciarati, and joins "Passione."

His stand is Aerosmith. It is an airplane-shaped stand that can detect enemies by measuring their carbon dioxide emissions. Because it uses carbon dioxide to detect enemies, it can be difficult to monitor if there are a lot of them or if there is housework going on nearby, but despite his lack of intelligence, Narancia, who acts by instinct, is a muscle-brained guy who uses his Stand to shoot down multiple enemies.

Bucciarati has decided to betray the organization. Bucciarati tells his team about his decision. Narancia joined the organization because he admired Bucciarati, so he has a hard time making up his mind. Narancia wants to be ordered around by Bucciarati. If Bucciarati had ordered him around at this time, he would have followed him right away. But Bucciarati says, "You decide which path you walk," "But I'll give you some advice," "Stay away, Narancia," "It's not for you," and with these words the boat sets off. But after that, Narancia makes the decision of his own volition to follow him. It was a great scene that only Narancia, who respects Bucciarati, could have done.

Narancia and his friends betray the boss because of Trish, the boss's daughter. Narancia sees his past, when he was abandoned by his parents, overlapping with Trish's present. Narancia cried out that her wounds were his own. That doesn't mean the two are close. In fact, when Trish complained about Bucciarati being cold, Narancia completely sided with Bucciarati. Well, it's typical of Narancia, who has a strong admiration and trust for Bucciarati.

The Death of Narancia

During the final battle with the boss Diavolo, an arrow is pointed at Bornarev's Stand, causing Requiem to be activated. Their bodies and minds are swapped, and Narancia ends up in Giorno's body. He acts as a group with Giorno (in Narancia's body), Mista and Trish (whose bodies and minds have been swapped), but is assassinated by Diavolo, who was also in Mista's body. What's surprising is that there is no scene in which Narancia dies, despite the fact that he has worked so hard for the organization and Bucciarati. He suddenly appears as a corpse. It was Narancia's final scene, which made me think he should take a leaf out of Taiyo ni Hoero. (His body is Giorno's, but death seems to be determined by the soul.) Incidentally, before Narancia went to the front at the end, a death flag was raised that he would die after this battle, so it was something that fans had expected to happen to some extent.

Thinking of Trish

Everyone loved Narancia. He was mocked and teased, but when it came to fighting, he did his best as one of the few muscle-brained characters in this work. Although it was unfortunate that there was no final death scene, he was still one of the great characters that colored the story, and one of my favorites! Thank you very much to everyone who read this time!
