Impression of Sawa-chan
Sawako Yamanaka is a music teacher at Sakuragaoka High School. Nicknamed "Sawa-chan," she's a beautiful, graceful, and prim teacher, beloved by students and popular with the other teachers.
She's so popular that she's said to have her own fan club... (lol) She's a former alumna of the same school. Apparently, some teachers remember her from back then...
As the Light Music Club Advisor
Sawa-chan's relationship with the Light Music Club begins even before the school festival. Tsumugi Kotobuki, the keyboardist for the Light Music Club, goes to the student council to apply for a spot at the festival. However, she discovers that the Light Music Club hasn't submitted an application. Naturally, they can't perform at the concert. However, when they try to apply for a spot in the concert, they're asked about the club's advisor. The members, unsure of what to do, decide to ask Sawa-chan for help.
Despite the members' direct request, Sawa-chan declines, saying, "I'm also the advisor for the brass band, so it's a bit difficult to balance both."
Then, the other day, Mio Akiyama, the bassist of the light music club, found a yearbook in the club room... Sawa-chan was distraught. Ritsu Tainaka, the drummer of the light music club, used it as a joke to shake her up (lol), and reluctantly became the club advisor.
Involvement with the Light Music Club
Sawa-chan somehow ended up becoming the advisor. Although initially reluctant, she is also cooperative, and during the school festival, she secretly trains Yui Hirasawa, the guitarist in the light music club, who is unable to juggle vocals and guitar, and even provides her with a costume she made herself.
There seems to be a bias in the costume genre... (lol)
Perhaps because she feels comfortable around the other members of the Light Music Club, she sometimes lets things go a little too far, and it's hard to tell who's the student and who's the teacher. However, Sawa's playful, classmate-like behavior is incredibly adorable.
After-school tea time with the Light Music Club seems to be a blissful moment for Sawa-chan, as she enjoys tea time with the other students. The sweets and tea set are teacher-approved (lol). For Sawako-sensei, the students may be the only ones she can interact with as they are.
Sawa-chan's Unknown Past
Akiyama Mio found a tape in the light music club's clubroom. It contained a very skillful performance. Apparently Sakuragaoka High School used to be a school with a thriving light music scene, and this is a performance from a band from that time. After hearing it, Mio Akiyama decides she and her friends need to practice more to improve, and so she organizes a training camp. Impressed by the experience, Mio plays it for everyone.
And then, at the end, a female death voice... Mio Akiyama trembled in fear. Time passed, and before the school festival, she found her yearbook and saw Sawa-chan running. What could have happened in her past...?
