Interspecies Reviewers is a comedy in which the characters tour the brothels of various races, familiar from fantasy, and write reviews that are reminiscent of those they've seen elsewhere, from each race's perspective. I'd like to introduce you to one of these brothel reviewers, a beautiful young man who looks both male and female, a former pure angel named Crimvael, who lost his powers and is unable to return to heaven.

Interspecies Reviewers is a work set in a fantasy world where various races coexist. Sex-loving men of various races travel to various locations to enjoy erotic activities, visiting erotic establishments where various races work as prostitutes, and reviewing them from their own race's unique perspective in a format similar to a Famitsu cross-review. While the subject matter may seem unfamiliar for a webcomic aimed at boys, rest assured that there's almost no offensive content.
Crimvael, the angel left behind in the underworld
Angels originally reside in heaven, but if their angelic halo is damaged, they lose their power. With his halo damaged, Crimvael was unable to return to heaven. When he first appeared, he was attacked by a large monster and in great peril. He was rescued by Stank, a human and Zel, two seemingly skilled and seasoned adventurers. Crimvael was rescued in the nick of time, and, recognizing his power, asked to stay by their side for a while.
The two men who helped Crimvael were some pretty incredible men.
Thus, Crimvael ended up traveling with Stank and Zell, who were worthless adults whose sole purpose in life was to frequent brothels. Stank and Zell agreed to help Crimvael on the condition that they would guide him to Heaven once his angel halo was cured, but their reason for doing so was quite impure: they wanted to visit a brothel in Heaven.
The Pure Angel "Crimvale" Has Become Stained
Crimvale was initially a pure angel, but he was seduced and led by the two to a brothel, where he was swept away by the two and experienced everything he could. Within a few pages, his pure angel transformed into a tainted angel. He continues to visit brothels at Zel and Stank's invitation, becoming a reviewer. Eventually, he ends up visiting brothels of his own accord.
Crimvael is essentially a naive, good-natured angel.
Compared to the other carefree reviewers, Crimvael is a very earnest and good-natured person. This leads to a strong sense of shame, and he feels intimidated by overly abnormal brothels. He generally has a hard time making the first move, and prefers someone who takes the lead. While he seems to be steadily descending down the path of depravity throughout the story, he remains one of the most moralistic and respectable characters in the series, never losing his sense of morality.
Crimvael is actually attracted to both men and women...or rather, a hermaphrodite angel.
She generally passes off as a man in front of Stank and his friends, but this is because she's aware of the possibility of being attacked by Stank and his friends, who are sexually insatiable. In reality, she's both male and female. At a gender-change inn, she chooses a hyena girl, despite being female, and her other suspicious behavior leads to suspicions of being bisexual. In the end, the suspicions remain, but as a hermaphrodite, Crimvael doesn't have any particular sexual preferences.

Although Crimvale may appear to be a woman at first glance, he possesses a hyper weapon whose size far surpasses that of other races. Fairy brothels are unable to find prostitutes of his size, so they turn him down.

Although Crimvael can no longer unleash his power due to the loss of his angelic halo, he still possesses the elemental resistance unique to angels, possessing great resistance to all elements except physical and dark. This allows him to be easily touched by races that are inaccessible to normal races. However, without his angelic halo, he is unable to make a living as an adventurer, and since there are no jobs that effectively utilize his elemental resistance, he is practically dead.

Crimvael's angelic halo has lost its power and is unable to return to Heaven, but it seems that nothing can be broken so easily by an angel. Furthermore, the words and actions of Crimvael's senior angel suggest that angelic haloes likely have the ability to bind angels and prevent them from moving freely.
Popular Angel Reviewer and Waitress "Grimvale"
Since her angel halo is damaged and she can't go on adventures, she works as a waitress at the adventurer's bar "Shokushutei," which also serves as Stank and his friends' base, to make ends meet. Although she usually goes with the flow and accompanies Stank and his friends, there are times when she has to restrain herself, as continuing to frequent brothels would lead to ruin. However, because she's also a popular reviewer, Stank and his friends pay her a kind of royalties, so she often goes with the flow.
Crimvale is ignorant of the customs of the lower world
Having been raised in heaven, he is unfamiliar with the customs of the lower world, and is unaware of the New Year's prayers that people on earth make to their heavenly gods. While this is perhaps to be expected of someone from heaven, he has also made explosive angelic remarks, such as saying that if prayers were answered, he wouldn't be here right now, thereby endangering the culture of faith. Surprisingly, work in heaven seems to be a bureaucratic affair.

Although Interspecies Reviewers' subject matter is an erotic shop, it cuts out unseemly or outrageous language and is, in principle, a comedy that even minors can watch safely, making it a casually enjoyable anime.
