Her long, wavy silver hair, calm demeanor, and dignified bearing, combined with her aristocratic aura, earned her the nickname "Silver Princess." She speaks politely to everyone, using old-fashioned language such as, "My lord, what's up with you? You're so strange..." She dislikes others knowing her true identity, and even at auditions, she never replies to questions she doesn't want to be asked with, saying, "It's a top secret." This, coupled with her own strange behavior, makes her one of the most enigmatic characters. Her birthplace is unknown, but her name, "Shijo," suggests it may be Kyoto. Incidentally, Ami and Mami call her "Ohime-chin."

Takane is highly sensitive to people's feelings, and when Chihaya initially had doubts about her idol career, she read her true intentions and offered her advice. He makes encouraging remarks to the timid Yayoi and Yukiho, and is also sensitive to the emotions of Chihaya, who gradually becomes gloomy as she remembers her past. He also has a keen intuition, having discovered that Ami is actually a twin and sometimes switches places with Mami (in the game), and sensed the presence of a corrupt reporter who is targeting him. He is also knowledgeable in martial arts, and was able to repel a corrupt reporter who is a black belt in judo. However, when he tries to solve the corrupt reporter problem on his own, he ends up causing other problems, and is pointed out by the producer, showing that he is not perfect.

Although Takane may seem shrewd, she is also incredibly strong-willed and unwavering. In fact, she lives her own life at her own pace, no matter what. Because of this, she sometimes makes silly mistakes and gets teased by Hibiki. When she appeared on Gerogero Kitchen, she liked the costume she was wearing so much that she tried to take it home, which got her teased by the producer. She also often behaves in an eccentric manner, and when Haruka said she felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest because she was so nervous, she made a fuss and told them to call a doctor.

Contrary to her appearance, Takane eats a lot. In episode 3 of the anime, when she goes to Furugo Village, she is the only one to snack on food from the food stall while everyone else is helping out at the stall, and in episode 5, she eats several large bowls of ramen by herself at a beach house. She is truly a big eater. And she doesn't gain weight. In her Namasuka corner, Takane has a segment called "Ramen Exploration," where she goes around eating at various ramen shops. Of course, her favorite food is ramen (although Takane, who doesn't like foreign words, pronounces it "ramen"). Takane, who sometimes doesn't read the mood, munched on popcorn despite a touching scene in episode 26 when they went to see a movie starring Azusa (and then went to a sushi restaurant afterwards and ate dozens of plates).

She waves hello to a sign with a picture of a person on it, and Hibiki tells her, "You should really get some glasses." Her eyesight is so bad that it interferes with her daily life. She also hates scary things, like ghosts. He also has a fear of reptiles, and when a snake got into the studio he was so frightened he couldn't do anything. On this occasion he was saved by Yukiho. When he went to Hibiki's house he was also befriended by a snake called Hebika, and fainted.

Like Hibiki, Takane first appeared in the PSP game "THE IDOLM@STER SP," released in February 2009. At the time, she was a rival idol affiliated with 961 Production, standing in the way of 765 Production, competing against Iori, Ami, Mami, and Yukiho. She formed a unit called Project Fairy with fellow 961 Production member Hibiki and Miki, who had made a surprise transfer from 765 Production to 961 Production. Although she first appeared four years after the arcade version, she may actually have been one of the original characters to appear in the arcade version. Originally planned to appear as an idol affiliated with 765 Production in the arcade version, she was scrapped and only her name and background remained: "Takane." She was revived in the PSP version, and from subsequent games onwards, she became an established 765 Production idol. Initially, she was set to have blonde hair, but when Miki became a regular member first, her hair was changed to silver.
Shijou Takane: Full of Mysteries

Takane doesn't reveal much about herself in the story, so there's still a lot we don't know about her. However, while her dignified demeanor makes her seem like a princess, she also has a charming side, sometimes acting airheaded and being a big eater. She is often depicted thinking about the moon, which has led to rumors that she might actually be a princess or princess of the moon... She is so mysterious, but the secret to her popularity is probably her human-like personality that she displays amidst her mysteriousness. The Idolmaster series is still unfolding in various ways, so perhaps the day will come when Takane's secret will be revealed? It's exciting.
