The anime "I Gained Cheat Abilities in Another World, Now Unrivaled in the Real World Too: Leveling Up Changed My Life" will begin airing in April 2023. The work was originally serialized on Kakuyomu and written by Miku. In fact, Miku is also the author of "True Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, I Was a Winner in Life," which is airing as an anime in the winter season of 2023. This work is serialized on Let's Become a Novelist, and she is active on two major novel submission sites. She is a very popular author with both of her works being adapted into anime. In this article, we would like to introduce you to Miku.
About "Miku" Sensei
In preparation for writing this article about Miku Sensei, I did some research. If you search for Miku Sensei, you'll find that there's no profile information, nor is there any Wikipedia or Pixiv encyclopedia. This is only natural, since it's unthinkable for people to make personal information public in this day and age. I've gathered information about Miku Sensei from Twitter, Kakuyomu, and Let's Become a Novelist.
When did she debut as a novelist?
Miku-sensei posts on both Kakuyomu and Let's Become a Novelist, but looking at her submitted works, it appears she started writing on Let's Become a Novelist first. In 2013, she posted a work called "Demon God Wants to Enjoy Alcohol." While unfortunately not completed, this work is believed to be her first work as a writer.
Representative Work: "The Fruit of Evolution: Before We Knew It, We Were Winning"
The following year, in January 2014, Miku began writing her masterpiece, "The Fruit of Evolution: Before We Knew It, We Were Winning," which was published as a book by Futabasha's Monster Bunko in July. The first season of the anime aired in October 2021, and the second season of "The Fruit of Evolution: Before We Knew It, We Were Winning" began airing in January 2023.
Writing since student days!?
In her activity report on "Let's Become a Novelist," titled "Resuming in 2015," she wrote, "Now that my university life has settled down a bit, I'm resuming posting." This suggests that Miku made her debut as a writer while still a student. With the proliferation of novel submission sites that allow anyone to freely publish their work with the aim of discovering new talent, it's perhaps not surprising that there are so many talented young authors.
Activities on "Kakuyomu"
Miku began writing on "Kakuyomu" in March 2017. Her most famous work on Kakuyomu is, of course, "I Gained Cheat Abilities in Another World, Unrivaled in the Real World Too: Leveling Up Changed My Life." This work won the Grand Prize in the Science Fiction/Modern Fantasy category at the 3rd Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest. It was subsequently published as a book in 2018, leading to a media mix and the current anime adaptation.
Kakuyomu Pen Name
Miku initially wrote for Kakuyomu under the pen name "Ao." At the time, "The Fruit of Evolution: Unknowingly a Winning Life" had already been published, so she decided to use the pen name "Ao" to see how far she could go without using the "Miku" pen name. When "I Gained Cheat Abilities in Another World, Unrivaled in the Real World Too: Leveling Up Changed My Life" won the Grand Prize at the Kakuyomu Web Novel Contest and was confirmed for publication, she decided to return to the pen name. She is currently active on Kakuyomu under the name "Miku (Ao)."

脚本を読ませていただいた際は、攻めた内容に爆笑し、まさかそれを私が演じるとは思いもしませんでした。
モヒカンの先祖が登場することにも驚きでした。

She voiced the character Yaranaikka Issei in episode 7 of "True Fruit of Evolution: Unknowingly Becoming a Winner in Life," currently airing this winter. While Miku's profile is not public, many people likely assumed that Yaranaikka Issei was male after hearing his voice.
Summary of Miku-sensei
Two of Miku-sensei's works have been adapted into anime, but there's little information about her, so we thought we'd introduce her. She's still actively writing, and in addition to her most famous works, she personally introduces "Slow Adventure" and "Bushinden" on Twitter. Both can be read on "Kakuyomu," so if you're interested, please give them a read. Thank you for reading to the end.
