The training that appears in Hunter x Hunter. Wing taught him the basics, and Bisky taught him the advanced techniques, and both were excellent teachers. We've put together a quick summary of what these two taught. Considering Gon and his friends' rapid growth, it's possible that Gon and Killua aren't the only geniuses, but that their teachers, Wing and Bisky, are geniuses as well.
Muscle Training at the Gate of Trials
Finally becoming Hunters, Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika pursue Killua, who failed the Hunter Exam and returned to the Zoldyck family home. However, the door remains firmly shut and won't budge. Surprisingly, the door wasn't closed, but simply heavy.
The weight of each door was at least 2 tons, for a total of 4 tons. He knew that if he didn't open the door he would be eaten alive by the guard dog Mike, so he desperately trained hard and finally succeeded in opening it. As for Leorio, he was able to open doors weighing up to 8 tonnes, so he may have had a lot of strength to begin with.
He trains under Wing at the Heavenly Arena.
When he tried to ascend to the 200th floor of the Heavenly Arena, Hisoka told him it was too early and prevented him from proceeding with the power of Nen. Unable to bear watching Gon and Killua try to force their way forward, Wing decided to teach them Nen, and because Wing was a professional when it came to Nen, he was able to forcefully summon Nen in just a few minutes, successfully helping them reach the 200th floor, something that would normally take several months of training.
After that, he continued to learn the concept of Nen from Wing as his teacher. As we later learn when he meets Bisky, Wing was a student with a poor memory. Having a poor memory also means that he can be a good teacher when it comes to teaching, so I think he was really lucky to have met such a good teacher when it came to learning the basics.
Learns training from Bisky on Greed Island
The story begins with an interesting relationship between Bisky, who was plotting to ruin Gon and Killua's relationship, and Killua, who was tired of being taught. Taking advantage of the fact that she happened to be Wing's master, Bisky decided to train Gon and Killua. Knowing that if they hone their skills they will shine, Bisky trained Gon and Killua thoroughly. If Wing was the foundation, Bisky was the application.
Their training took aura movement, improved basic physical strength, the ability to sense danger, and the Nen control techniques that Wing taught them, and took them a step further to apply them in battle. Thanks to this training, they were able to defeat Razor, and also Bomber, who was committing evil deeds on Greed Island. Considering that without Bisky's training they would have even lost to Binolt, it's remarkable progress.
Bisky's Training in the Chimera Ant Arc
Bisky's Magical Beauty Salon ability, Magical Beauty, can restore fatigue equivalent to eight hours of sleep in just 30 minutes. It's an impressive master skill, isn't it? Since I'm being trained for a long period of time, I can't think of a more unfair ability to learn from.
I used the Magic Beautician to heal myself many times and trained to fight Knuckles, but I lost. Considering how close I was to winning, it's clear that I've become quite an improvement. This is also evident from the fact that I was able to significantly extend the activation time of Hard.
Killua pointed out my fighting mindset and my habit of running away when I was about to lose. It's not just the body that makes you strong, Bisky really is a good teacher.
Summary of Gon and Friends' Training
At the Gate of Trials, Gon trained his muscles. At the Heavenly Arena, he mastered the basics of Nen. At Greed Island, he practiced the application of Nen. In the Chimera Ant arc, he trained to develop his toughness so he could face top-tier opponents. It's clear that he's getting stronger step by step. I'm looking forward to his next training session.
