This work became famous through anime and manga, but it was originally a computer game by the doujin group "07th Expansion." It is a sound novel, and was directed and written by Ryukishi07. The game, manga, and anime are all divided into a question section and an answer section, and are structured so that you cannot grasp the whole picture of the work unless you play and read both. The official title is "Higurashi When They Cry," with the "na" in red, and even in the English version, "When They Cry," the "C" is in red. The cruel and thrilling content is hard to imagine from the cute characters, and it is an excellent horror work. In this article, I would like to introduce the fourth season OVA version of "Higurashi When They Cry Kira," which was not included in the TV anime version.

It is made up of 4 chapters and 4 episodes: "Batsukoishi-hen ~Joy~", "Yosenshi-hen ~Tsutomu~", "Yuenshi-hen ~Ai~", and "Yumetashi-hen ~Happiness~". The titles of each episode are Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Happiness, which represent the theme of each episode.
It was released on July 21, 2011 as a "Higurashi 10th Anniversary Work", and all episodes except for "Batsukoishi-hen ~Joy~" are completely original.

I can understand Hanyuu's feelings of not wanting to return Rika to her original world, where she will repeat her cruel fate.
