The anime "Heya Camp△" is scheduled to begin airing in January 2020. As many of you may already know, this is a standalone short anime that was originally broadcast after the main story of the hugely popular anime "Yuru Camp△." Its laid-back atmosphere has become a hot topic, and "Heya Camp△" was just as popular as the main story. Anticipation is building for the new developments in "Yuru Camp△." In this article, we'll be introducing the club members' fantasies that exploded in the short anime "Heya Camp△." "Heya Camp☆" has an even more laid-back atmosphere than the main story "Yuru Camp△," which sometimes leads to the club members' wildest fantasies. What exactly is it all about? Let's take a look now.

Daydream #1 ☆ I wish I had a tent like this

Kotatsu

Camping season is primarily summer, isn't it? There's also demand for winter camping, and Shima Rin and others make the effort to camp during the off-season when there aren't many people around. Even so, it's still not as popular as summer. One reason for this is the cold weather, but here, Chiaki and Aoi fantasized about tents of the future, saying, "I wish we had a tent like this."

Settling Down in a Kotatsu

Kotatsu

Chiaki and Aoi ponder various options. Since the hurdles for cold weather protection have risen, they wonder if a tent with a heater would sell well. "Equipped with a 1200-watt straight-tube halogen heater!" "Significantly improved strength and livability!" "Sturdy tabletop, so it can withstand hailstorms!" "Temperature can be adjusted with a handheld remote!" Chiaki is excited, but Aoi interrupts, "Isn't that a kotatsu?" While it certainly looks like a kotatsu, if we had a tent like this, winter camping would definitely become popular.

Fantasy #2☆Camping Practice? Nadeshiko Plays the Puppets

2人

The Outdoor Club's clubroom is very small. Despite the space, the three members were, for some reason, practicing camping (?). They practiced setting up tents, wrapping blankets, making hammocks, and relaxing in chairs, all freely practicing. Eventually, they ended up practicing chatting around a campfire and gazing at Mt. Fuji, which I couldn't quite put my finger on. What's even more problematic is that Nadeshiko played the role of the prop in every scene. She played the tent during tent setup and the hammock during hammock practice. It's hard to imagine what kind of practical use this practice actually was, but it was quite surreal to see the members diligently practicing with such serious faces.

Why the prop role?

At one point, Nadeshiko interjected, "Why am I the only one playing the prop role?" Aoi responded, "Because it's funny!" This episode was surreal and full of mysteries, but Akio Otsuka's narration added a nice touch.

Fantasy #3 ☆ The Secret of Soba and Udon

Donburi

Nadeshiko and Chiaki were talking about how many soba and udon restaurants on the mountain path serve. Aoi then revealed that the original pronunciation was "soba-udon," not "soba-udon." The "u" in "soba-u" stands for "cormorant," and cormorants that grow up eating buckwheat husks are called "soba-cormorants." Is that really possible?

Of course it's a lie!

Bird

This story is, of course, a lie, made up by Aoi. According to Aoi, "Soba Udon" is a local dish made by "simmering soba cormorant fish with wild vegetables in a sweet sauce and serving it on rice." However, it gradually became confused with "soba" or "udon," and the "soba cormorant bowl" disappeared... Nadeshiko was impressed by this story and said, "Oh, really?" She was completely fooled until Aoi, in her usual tone, said, "That's a lie!"

Idea #4 ☆ Let's think of a mascot character!

Nyantan

I want to recruit new members! I'm sick of the cramped clubroom!' Chiaki says. They decide to create a mascot character to promote the club and attract new members. Chiaki, Nadeshiko, and Aoi each let their imaginations run wild.

Cooked

Maruyaki-chan

Aoi's idea was that crossing animals would work well. For example, "Tent and dog combined to get Tenshiba." Nadeshiko also steadily suggested other ideas, such as "Lantern and cat combined to get Nyantan." However, Chiaki then suggested "Oven and turkey combined to get Maruyaki-chan," to which Aoi gently chimed in, "That's already cooked."

Fantasy #5☆Nadeshiko's nickname becomes "Fujiko"

Mount Fuji

Nadeshiko loves Mount Fuji. So much so that on the day she moved from Yamanashi Prefecture to Shizuoka Prefecture, she cycled 40 kilometers every time she saw it. Then, when she was in a pinch, she met Rin, who treated her to curry rice. From there, Nadeshiko became obsessed with camping, joined the Outdoor Club, and gradually became close friends with Rin, continuing to do so to this day. Nadeshiko also went camping at Mount Fuji with Rin. She happily showed the photos from that trip to the Outdoor Club members, but Nadeshiko, who loves Mount Fuji, became increasingly enthusiastic.

Nadeshiko Loves Mount Fuji Too Much

Mount Fuji

At first, she showed photos of her and Rin together, and pictures of the ice cream they ate, but Nadeshiko's enthusiasm grew stronger and stronger. Nadeshiko even ended up buying a Mount Fuji T-shirt and a Mount Fuji mascot, she said excitedly. At that moment, Aoi tells Nadeshiko, "If you like it so much, why don't you just climb it?" Nadeshiko suddenly becomes embarrassed and says, "Just watching is enough!" Aoi responds, "You're a girl with unrequited love, aren't you?" The conversation is full of quips and quips. Chiaki, who has been watching the whole exchange, gives Nadeshiko the strange nickname, "You keep saying Fuji Fuji, so from now on, you're Fujikona." Chiaki is known for giving strange nicknames, such as calling Aoi "Inuko" (from her last name, Inuyama) and calling Shima Rin "Shimarin" like a mascot character. Nadeshiko is initially shocked when she hears "Fujiko!", but quickly accepts with a smile, saying, "That's fine!"

We can't wait to see what kind of "fantasies" will explode in the new series!

In the short anime "Heya Camp△," the club members' wild imaginations and wild fantasies were so wild that viewers couldn't help but make comments. We're excited to see what new fantasies will unfold in the new "Heya Camp△" series.

Here's the visuals currently released!

Heya Camp△

Here's the visuals for the new "Heya Camp△" series, which will begin in 2020. Under the tagline "It's always going to be me," the visual depicts the "Yuru Camp△" members in the mountains. Fans are excited to hear that the staff of "Yuru Camp△" have reunited to produce an anime. The visual design is wonderful, somewhat reminiscent of the fashion brand "Earth Music & Ecology." The main characters are depicted, but upon closer inspection, it appears that Saito Ena and Nadeshiko's older sister are also there! It feels like they'll be even more involved in the story from now on, and we're already really looking forward to it.
