Gran and his friends arrive as they are having some sort of trouble with bandits, and when Cain sees them, he talks to Gran, who he is meeting for the first time, as if to involve him in the trouble. At first, he seems like a light-hearted and frivolous character, but his strategies are always about peaceful resolution. He avoids being in the lead as much as possible and is always thinking of the best way to avoid injuries or deaths. This is no surprise, as Cain was already a general in the Kingdom of Idelba at just 22 years old.

The boss of the first bandit group you encounter in the Nar Grande airspace. At first glance, he seems like a typical muscle-brained character, but he was originally a member of the Torrid Kingdom army and is very smart. He is strict with the islanders and often takes them hostage. However, he doesn't take women and children hostage, only lays hands on adult men, and protects the islanders from monsters. His biggest flaw is that he makes his subordinates call him "King." It's like he's from some kind of end-of-the-century time.

In the Blue Girl arc, Oukisu returned her body to Orukisu, and her soul was transferred to a golem (doll) vessel with the same appearance.
