Goblins are featured in Goblin Slayer, so this time we will introduce the various goblins that appear in the story.
Just a Goblin
A small monster that is the top of the non-prayers (non-players), and is classified as the weakest among them. It is also written and called a little demon. Even as an adult, its strength and intelligence are on par with that of a human child, and it has the intelligence to handle primitive and simple weapons. There are so many of them that ordinary people ridicule them by saying that "one appears every time someone fails," and they have a strong reproductive ability. Although they are weak individually, when they attack in groups, the threat cannot be underestimated. According to Goblin Slayer, they are said to come from the green moon of the two moons.

They have a strong reproductive ability and can mate with other races. They grow quickly and multiply in a short period of time. They kidnap women of other races, often human ones, for food, entertainment, and breeding. They have a cunning and cruel personality. They have good low-light vision and prefer dark places, taking advantage of the darkness to cause harm. They lack bravery and their victims are mainly the weak.
Goblin's Personality

They have no compassion or sympathy for others, and feel no sorrow when their fellow tribesmen or community members are killed. When they are attacked, they get angry, not because they care about their friends, but because they are angry that their territory has been trampled on. For example, while they will defend against attacks by using humans as meat shields, they will not hesitate to attack their allies when the other person uses a goblin as a shield, and will even mock their comrades' mistakes. To top it off, even when they have a numerical advantage, they will run away because they don't want to wear themselves out or get injured, demonstrating their thoroughly selfish nature. Overall, they can be said to be an even worse version of a selfish brat who enjoys bullying the weak, completely lacking in ethics.
Threat level of goblins

Because they are weak individually, their threat level tends to be low, and countries and lords rarely take action against their harm. To be precise, the Adventurer's Guild is a national organization, and the country sends adventurers, so the military never moves. Most of the dealing with this is left to adventurers, and it has become customary because it is sufficient.
Goblins are the enemy of novice adventurers

Even though they are weak, a group that has swelled to a certain size is a threat to villages with poor self-defense capabilities, and the damage they cause is a serious problem, but since the client is a village with little income, the profits are low, and many adventurers avoid requests to exterminate them. For this reason, many novice adventurers take on the role. However, it seems that the evaluation of the degree of social contribution is relatively high.
Evaluation of Goblins

Beginners tend to underestimate goblins as weak monsters due to lack of experience, but in reality, they are not much of a threat on their own. Many of them struggle but win, learning that adventure should not be underestimated, but there are also cases where they are wiped out. Also, since the world is ruled by the dice of the gods, even if you are an experienced player, victory is not 100% guaranteed, and they are generally considered to be "troublesome" opponents.
What are goblins?
In fact, "goblins are the weakest monsters," and since the world is overrun with demons and dragons that could destroy the world, they are hardly considered important. Some people take on jobs such as bodyguards, just like adventurers, and these people become "migrants" who move from one den to another, gaining experience and growing. Also, that experience and wisdom are returned to new groups, so even though they have low intelligence, they have the trouble of learning, but they learn "kindness" and do not awaken to altruism.
Goblins that have reverted to their ancestors
The result of these transformations are the higher-ranking mutants, some of whom have the skills of seasoned adventurers and boast large bodies due to their reversion to their ancestors. Known examples of the "travellers" include the "Hob", a fierce "Goblin Champion" with plenty of combat experience, and the "Goblin Lord", a leader of the goblins who has acquired high leadership skills. There are also mysterious beings such as the "Goblin Paladin".
Goblin Rider

The strength of the goblin itself is the same as that of a normal goblin, but this individual can ride a wolf to move and attack. This goblin does not yet have the characteristics to form a group by itself, and acts in groups like a normal goblin.
Goblin Lord

A goblin that has evolved to specialize in leadership. It is the growth of a goblin that was once overlooked by an adventurer, and with its unusual intelligence and leadership for a goblin, it forms a large group and attempts to attack a remote town. It is equivalent to the platinum grade for goblins. Because he is an individual who specializes in leadership rather than combat or magical power, the goblins led by the Goblin King display incredible strength as a well-coordinated goblin army, rather than a swarm of monsters. The adventurers who had noticed the situation called out to Goblin Slayer and intercepted him, and when he tried to escape in an attempt to make a comeback, he was ambushed and defeated by Goblin Slayer.
Goblin Champion

A goblin warrior who has grown larger than a hobgoblin and has more combat experience. In terms of pure combat power alone, they are of the same platinum rank as the Goblin King. Although they lack the extraordinary intelligence and leadership of the Goblin King, their strong muscles and legs overwhelm even experienced adventurers. Some of them seem to understand some of the written language, and they declared that they would take revenge on Goblin Slayer for hurting them, but they were killed by smashing down the entire room of the ruins that they were using as their base.
Goblin Paladin
A goblin paladin who governs the goblins that inhabit the fortress in the snowy mountains. He wears armor and a cloak, and is equipped with a sword and shield that he plundered from a young lady knight. He has a fair amount of knowledge, and has learned sword techniques from fighting numerous adventurers, so although he is not as skilled as an ordinary knight, he attacks skillfully using a sword and shield.
Highly intelligent
He used his swordsmanship to bring the goblins together, kidnapped girls from nearby villages and used them as breeding bags, increasing the number of goblins by more than 50, captured the young swordsman, and tried to increase his leadership by holding an award ceremony like a normal human, but failed due to the efforts of Goblin Slayer and the others. In the end, he was defeated by a spell from the young swordsman who received a signal during a one-on-one battle with Goblin Slayer. It is suggested that he attempted to refine metals from the abundant ore resources in the fortress, produce weapons, and equip the goblins with them to form an army.
Enemies other than goblins
Giant (Troll)
Goblins have a larger body and strength than heroes, but on the other hand, their intelligence is lower than that of goblins and they act on instinct. Very rarely, there are individuals who act in cooperation with goblins, and they mainly act as gatekeepers and shields.
Man-eating Ogre

A subordinate of the Demon King. Male. A powerful monster that even a party of silver-ranked adventurers have a hard time fighting. He has a body and muscles that overwhelm ordinary humans, and an intelligence that allows him to understand ordinary human language and speak it fluently. Even if his eyes are gouged out, he has the ability to quickly recover, so unless his body is cut in half and he loses a lot of blood, it is difficult to defeat him in hand-to-hand combat. Numerous anecdotes have been told of his strength, such as crushing an adventurer who tried to protect himself with a shield, and fighting one-on-one with an adventurer, with only the ogre remaining unscathed for 100 days.
Commanding Goblins
He formed a goblin army based in an ancient ruin, and was planning to attack the army of order from behind, but Goblin Slayer and his friends killed all of his goblin minions and thwarted his plan. In the end, he was defeated by a clever tactic using Goblin Slayer's Scroll of Teleportation. The spell he can use is Fireball.
Bivolver

It has a spherical body and a gigantic eyeball that is almost the same size as its body, and all magic is nullified within the range of its line of sight. In addition, ten tentacles extend from the top of its head, each with a small eye at the end that can emit a powerful ray of light with effects such as charm, sleep, fear, petrification, instant death, and metal decomposition. It is a powerful monster that can take on a skilled adventurer party by itself.
Demon King
It is also called the Demon King. Beings that are related to the survival of the world seem to appear periodically, and generally, the highest platinum rank adventurers are expected to defeat the Demon King and his army. Ten years ago, a party that included the Maiden of the Sword defeated one.
Summary
There are many different types of goblins, and some of them can be strong enemies. However, isn't it unique to this work that goblins can be such strong enemies? Keep an eye on the goblins that will appear in the future.
