A rookie warrior who formed a goblin-hunting party with the priestess, but was unfortunately killed during his first goblin-hunting adventure. The priestess and Goblin Slayer then found his long sword. That's what Goblin Slayer says. It's too long to swing in a cave. Nowadays, Goblin Slayer mainly uses daggers, and when his sword loses its sharpness, he throws it and picks up goblin weapons to fight goblins.

Goblins are said to be sensitive to smells, so the priestess and elves are covered in goblin blood. This was due to the fact that Goblin Slayer once had his intrusion detected by the smell of his brand new weapon. For this reason, she infiltrates the dungeon with the smell of goblin blood and stolen goods soaked into her body. At first, the priestess is quite disheartened, but when an elf finds herself in the same situation, she says with an emotionless expression that she'll get used to it. Incidentally, the advice given to the priestess when she applied the scent was to breathe through her nose and to get used to the smell of blood and organs. When Goblin Slayer first hunts goblins, there is a description of him being a little surprised by the unique smell of the goblin den, so it's likely that Goblin Slayer has also gotten used to this smell.

In a dark cave, the only light is a torch. No one pays attention to the shadows on the rock face. Instead, their eyes are drawn to the totem pole. Their attention is drawn to the tunnel, and they miss it. These are the words Goblin Slayer said to the Priestess, but in fact Goblin Slayer made the exact same oversight. This is why he has been ambushed from behind before. Since then, it seems he has always been careful when carrying a totem.

Goblins use poison. It's such a basic thing, you'd think the receptionist should have told me about it earlier! But I'm not sure if all goblins use poison, so let's leave that aside. The weapons used by goblins have their blades coated with poison they create themselves. That's right. Goblin Slayer has also been poisoned in the past. At the time, he fought through with sheer willpower.

Goblin Slayer always carries potions and antidotes. He carries everything he needs to exterminate goblins, even charcoal. He even comes with a bag to carry all of his gear. There was no explanation as to what kind of measures were taken, but when Goblin Slayer was poisoned on his first adventure, he tried to use an antidote, but it broke inside his bag. As a result, it seems that since then, measures have been taken to prevent the contents of the bag from breaking.

Goblin Slayer was ambushed by a Hofgoblin, whom he thought he had killed in the past. At the time, Goblin Slayer happened to be facing off against the shaman, so he narrowly escaped the crisis with sheer willpower.

Goblin Slayer uses wedge mail. This is likely due to the poison he received from goblin stings. Above all, he has also considered what would happen if his equipment were stolen by goblins, and has concluded that wedge mail would be no problem. This is something the armor shop owner said based on his guess at Goblin Slayer's thoughts, so it is not certain. However, considering that he does not reveal the details of the scroll to the elves, it seems that he is still considering the possibility that his equipment could be stolen. The priestess also follows Goblin Slayer's advice and uses wedge mail.

Goblins are attacked early in the morning or in the evening. Since goblins are nocturnal, evening corresponds to early morning, and early morning is said to be a time when the concentration of watchfulness is broken after night after night. When Goblin Slayer was a child, his village was attacked by goblins. When he tried to escape, he chose nighttime and tried to blend into the darkness, but it turned out that goblins have excellent low-light vision and can see clearly even in the dark. However, Goblin Slayer was once discovered by a guard and nearly died.

From the very beginning of his appearance, Goblin Slayer has been counting the number of goblins he's killed. This, too, is actually wisdom born from experience. When a goblin goes out to hunt goblins for the first time, he ends up losing track of how many he's killed, how many have escaped, and how many are left. So he starts humming the number of goblins he's killed. It's not that he enjoys killing them.

He has also accumulated knowledge about migration, and in the battle against the Goblin Lord's group, he brilliantly predicted the enemy's tactics and efficiently exterminated the goblins. Goblin Slayer, who specializes in fighting goblins, is not a particularly strong person, but rather has achieved his status through the accumulation of steady effort.
