The cowherd girl often rests her head on Goblin Slayer's lap and hugs him from behind while he's maintaining his armor. Goblin Slayer seems determined to protect the cowherd girl at all costs, perhaps because his sister once told him that girls must be protected. Furthermore, when he asked the guild members to help him exterminate goblins, he said he couldn't risk his own life because there was someone (the cowherd girl) who would be sad.

The receptionist has always shown favoritism towards Goblin Slayer, giving him healing potions and lecturing him. It seems that initially, the receptionist, overwhelmed by the number of goblin requests, was grateful for Goblin Slayer's dedication to hunting goblins, but she gradually becomes attracted to him. She expresses her gratitude to Goblin Slayer, who witnessed her promotion exam, as if confessing her feelings. She's already told her coworkers that she's interested in him, but it seems they haven't quite gotten closer.
Goblin Slayer's Reaction
Goblin Slayer seems to listen sincerely to the receptionist's words and actions. However, it's questionable whether there's any romantic element to their relationship. When Goblin Slayer is stopped after the witnessing session, she congratulates him on his hard work, but he only responds with "yes, it's mutual." Although she's trying to change her behavior and respond to requests, it still seems like there's still some distance between them.

The Sword Maiden is a rich adventurer who has also become a victim of goblins. She requests help exterminating goblins causing trouble in the city. Goblin Slayer and his companions eventually removed it, but the Sword Maiden was actually aware of the threat underground. Traumatized by a goblin attack, the Sword Maiden lied about the details of her request. However, during their conversation, she was so touched by Goblin Slayer's response to her question, "Will you not help me?" that she confessed to him face-to-face, "I miss you very much." While it's unclear how this will play out in the story going forward, it was a touching scene.

In response to Goblin Slayer's question, "Will you not help me?" she replied, "If you're in trouble with goblins, just tell me." She even said she would come to help him in her dreams. She's not the type of character to use such sweet words, so she likely means it. Even after he confesses his feelings for her, she leaves without saying anything. It seems unlikely that anything will develop further.

While it's still unclear whether there's a romance element in this one, the Elf Archer seems to be interested in Goblin Slayer. If anything, adventures should be fun. Goblin Slayer isn't having fun, so perhaps the concept is to have him learn to enjoy them by adventuring together. However, when she sees other adventurers in town gossiping about Goblin Slayer's outfit, she immediately comes to his aid and even says she might invite him back to her party, suggesting she does consider them companions. However, in addition to the age difference, the setting also raises questions about whether elves, as a race, can have romantic feelings for humans that transcend race.

This is a completely comradely reaction. She likely doesn't mind traveling and adventuring with the Elf Archers, but she doesn't seem to have any romantic feelings for them. To begin with, Goblin Slayer rarely expresses any emotion in the story, and he often has a cold, detached attitude, so it's hard to say for sure.

The Priestess is Goblin Slayer's savior and his companion on his adventures. She is one of the people who shows great understanding, as she expresses her ability to easily understand Goblin Slayer's words, actions, and emotions. She frequently expresses her wishes, such as asking him not to push himself too hard and asking for his advice, but it seems her true intentions are not conveyed. The Priestess seems curious about Goblin Slayer's true appearance, and as a reward for her role in the Goblin Lord incident, she had him remove his helmet. She likely liked the way Goblin Slayer looked without his helmet, as his expression seemed to have exploded with emotion.
Goblin Slayer's Reaction
Through his adventures with the Priestess, Goblin Slayer appears to be gradually changing. He also appears to trust the Priestess as an adventurer. However, there are no romantically charged responses to the Priestess's words or actions. As he calmly buys goblins, he seems to be gaining trust as a friend. Since he was her savior to begin with, it's highly questionable whether this will develop into a romance in the future.

The protagonist of this work, Goblin Slayer, rarely reveals his true feelings to the female characters. It will be exciting to see what kind of female characters he will interact with and what kind of relationships they will have. For now, it seems like the cowgirl is one step ahead, but the balance of power may change as she goes on various adventures.
