The receptionist came to this town after training in the capital. Her main job, as she calls it, is working at the Adventurer's Guild. Receptionists handle the procedures for registering as an adventurer, respond to clients who make requests to the Adventurer's Guild, prepare paperwork, process and report on adventurers who receive requests, and even conduct interviews for rank promotions. They are constantly swamped with work, making it an extremely busy job. Incidentally, it was this receptionist who handled the procedures when Goblin Slayer came to this town and registered as an adventurer.

Goblins are so numerous that it's said that for every party of adventurers, a goblin den is created. They're said to be the lowest of the low, but the guild is overwhelmed with goblin-related requests. Adventurers seeking fame and fortune generally receive requests from poor villages, and many feel that hunting goblins, which are considered the weakest of all, is not worth it, so this job is generally reserved for new adventurers. However, the unusual Goblin Slayer, an adventurer who continues to hunt only goblins, is an extremely valuable asset to the town's guild.

The receptionist never understood what was going on, but after completing the adventurer registration, she suddenly thought, "Does that mean I don't need to eat lunch?" That's what he meant. It was a moment that gave us a glimpse into the kind-hearted Goblin Slayer.

This is the story of when Goblin Slayer arrives with the cowherd girl. Goblin Slayer answers questions like, "Why do goblins attack people?" and "Do they enjoy it?" Those are lines that Goblin Slayer says in reference to himself, and as the story is described as dark fantasy, it's an extremely dark story. In the end, he starts to enjoy himself as he thinks about how to kill the goblins. In other words, to them, I am a goblin. That's how it ends. Combined with the description, it's a line that even makes it a little dark for the reader, but the receptionist lightens the mood with a single line, "Am I the Demon Lord?" She really does understand Goblin Slayer.

The receptionist is one of the few people who genuinely cares about Goblin Slayer and tries to understand him while also warning him about his behavior and words. Goblin Slayer, who doesn't care about his surroundings at all, dismembers goblins to learn more about them, has no interest in anything other than goblins, and only answers when asked, and he is lacking in many aspects of his personality. However, the receptionist always looks out for him, always warns him off, and even gives him healing potions at her own expense when he's feeling unwell. The understanding receptionist is full of gratitude for Goblin Slayer, who continues to hunt goblins relentlessly, and is actually quite fond of him.

The cowgirl knows about it because she lives with him, but it seems the receptionist also wanted to see it. With a slightly excited expression, she exclaims that it's a rare sight. The receptionist has always shown a preference for Goblin Slayer, but it's after this scene that we see a clear depiction of her having feelings for him. Is it his face after all?

It's a scene that makes you wonder if he's confessing his feelings, but Goblin Slayer doesn't seem to mind. After Goblin Slayer leaves, his colleague asks him if that person is the one he's interested in. That's the scene we see here. He replies blushing and says, "Yes, I am." His relaxed expression and slight tsundere attitude made it a very cute scene.
