First off, here's Matsuoka Gou's visual. She looks so cute with her ponytail! By the way, her name is written as Gou but pronounced as "Gou". She is a first-year student in the first season, a second-year student in the second season, and a third-year student in the third season. If you check her official profile, you'll find that she is 160cm tall and her weight is a secret. She is the younger sister of Matsuoka Rin, who attends Samezuka High School, and adores her older brother. Her name is the same as Go, the third of the Azai Sisters, the daughters of Sengoku warlord Azai Nagamasa, but she dislikes it, saying that "even though I'm a girl, my name sounds like a boy's." For that reason, she insists that people around her call her "Ko," but before she knows it, she has accepted being called "Gou."
Matsuoka E becomes the manager of the swimming club

Rin, her older brother, had left for Australia to study swimming. However, upon returning to Japan, he moved into a dormitory and barely contacted E. Worried about her, Rin called out to Haruka and the others who were once Rin's swimming buddies. From this point on, E became involved with the swimming club. In the end, Gou became the fourth member of the Iwatobi High School swimming team and served as the manager. He actively works as a manager, finding places and opponents for practice before the athletes even ask, collecting and analyzing data to plan schedules and training camps, and so on.
