The Scientific Side is a science city created by Aleister Crowley, the most powerful man and potential final boss. In a world where psychic powers have been explained through science, the curriculum focuses on developing these powers. With 80% of the population being students, it's also known as Academy City. Magicians who wield supernatural powers impossible for normal humans are called the magical side, and are the opposite force to the scientific side. Index is on the magical side.

These are Misaka clones developed and manufactured by the scientists after deceiving Misaka Mikoto. " Misaka said. Approximately 20,000 Misaka clones were created for experiments (resolved in season 1). Misaka carefully explained how they were eradicated. The smallest Misaka is a girl around 10 years old, whom the scientists call Uidomae or Last Order. This girl is the most powerful of the Misaka sisters, and is set up to give orders to all of them," Misaka explained further. "She's an extremely important character who will of course appear in season 3!" Misaka recommended.

Tsukuyomi Komoe is the homeroom teacher of the protagonist, Kamijo Touma. Although she looks exactly like an elementary school student, she is an adult with a university degree. She is said to be the oldest heroine in the world of light novels, manga, and anime, and is listed as one of the Seven Wonders of Academy City. Tsukuyomi is a reliable teacher with a wealth of knowledge who often answers Kamijo's questions (about enemy information). Despite her appearance, she cares about her students and has the personality of a middle-aged man who likes cigarettes and beer, but she is actually a very kind and good person!

Uiharu Kazari is a first-year junior high school student who lives in Academy City and attends Sakugawa Junior High School. He belongs to Branch 177 of the Academy City Disciplinary Committee (commonly known as Judgment). Judgment is like a student police force within Academy City. In addition to cleaning up the city, they are a group that solves a variety of cases including theft, robbery, and murder. He has excellent information gathering abilities, so he mainly works as an operator. He supports us in various ways, so he's one of the most reliable Judgments!

Misaka Mikoto is one of the seven Level 5s in Academy City. She is a rich girl in her second year of middle school, attending Tokiwadai Junior High School, the same school as Shirai. She is the original of the Misaka Sisters introduced in 10th place. Nicknamed the Railgun, she is an Electromaster, a pinnacle electric shock user, and a psychic known for her many techniques and versatility. She is a tsundere character only in front of Kamijo, but is usually a big sister type. She is one of the heroines who will definitely appear in season 3, so be sure to keep an eye out for her!

Are you looking forward to seeing what role Aleister Crowley will play in Season 3? He is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Academy City, the man who built Academy City himself, and who hates magic; he is none other than the biblical Aleister Crowley. With an appearance that is neither male nor female, he lives in a large beaker (a life support system) in a building somewhere in Academy City. He is a very mysterious character, but Aleister Crowley has some kind of plan and is running Academy City. He will definitely appear in season 3, so keep him in mind!

In the anime, he appeared in the final episode of Season 2. His appearance and the fact that he's voiced by the popular voice actor Hino Satoshi make him extremely popular. Hamazura Shiage is such an important character that he's been called the third main character. At first, he was thought to be a mob character with no skills in the Armed Powerless Group (Level 0 group), but he turns out to be a very active character. Many fans are excited to see him appear in the third season!

A classmate of the protagonist, Kamijo Touma, who lives next door to him in the dorm. He's usually light-hearted, saying things like "Meow" and "It's-", but he's actually a multifaceted spy on both the scientific and magical sides! He was originally a magician and a top-class onmyoji. He lost his powers after living in Academy City as a spy. He seems to have connections with Aleister Crowley, so we'll be keeping an eye on his future movements!

A Certain Magical Index, commonly known as Accelerator, is the number one esper in Academy City and a crucial character you definitely need to know about. He played an active role in both seasons 1 and 2, and will also appear in season 3. His name is often mentioned as the second protagonist of A Certain Magical Index. Although he is a villainous and cruel character at times, he often shows his humanity, such as when he saves Misaka 20001. While he accepts the barrier of being number 1, he also has a kind personality, which is why he is so popular in A Certain Magical Index!
[A Certain Magical Index] Important Character #1: Kamijo Touma

Number one is, of course, the series' protagonist, Kamijo Touma! Although he is a Level 0 powerless person, he possesses the innate ability (called a gem) of "Imagine Breaker."
