This is true of the battle scenes in this season of Enen, but they're all very well made.
There were two things that were particularly interesting this time.
① Seiyo Church In the scene where Benimaru kicks away the mob Xavier and others at the entrance to the Imperial Palace, Joker hums a parody of "Rain, Rain, Touch" while dodging the countless mobs that were blown away and falling. At this time, the background is bright red and the mobs are pitch black, and I really liked this slightly strange production.
② At the climax of the deadly battle between the captain of the Seiyo Church's dark side and the Joker,
the scene visualizes the world seen from the captain's perspective, in other words, the hallucinogenic smoke contained in the cigarettes that the Joker continued to smoke during the fight.
This was simply psychedelic, but a giant old clown loomed over the scary circus background music. The rapidly changing pictures and flashy colors were similar to the Disney animation Dumbo.
It was a very effective production, and it was enough to leave an impression of the Joker's fighting style. Above all, I personally thought it was a passionate expression!
By the way, the name of the special move used by the captain of the dark side, Jabara Banbara Banba, may have been intended to stir up the irony that he would be torn to pieces by the Joker afterwards. I don't know though.
