Overview

A Saber servant appearing in "Fate/Apocrypha."
He was summoned by Gold Musik Yggdmillennia, the Master of the "Black" faction, during the Holy Grail War.
As legend has it, his back is his only weak spot, and to conceal his true name, Gold has strictly ordered him not to speak except when activating his Noble Phantasm.

Character Profile

He has the personality of a noble knight, eager to fight to the death against powerful foes. He disapproves of ridicule on the battlefield and has a heroic character that values justice.
He is described in legend as "a man who has always been relied upon," and will obediently follow orders that benefit him.
However, he abhors one-sided violence against the weak, and if someone crouches before him, he will even ignore orders to help them. He is silent, but compassionate. He always steps forward to protect his allies on the battlefield.
As a Heroic Spirit, he reflects on his life as a "hero desired by others" and harbors one modest dream.
A champion of justice who fights not for "someone else's sake," but simply for his own righteous cause—that became his dream.

True Name

His real name is Siegfried, the great dragon-slayer hero who defeated the evil dragon Fafnir.
He is the protagonist of the German heroic epic poem "The Song of the Nibelungs."
He shares his origins with Sigurd of Norse mythology. He is said to be a prince of the Netherlands.
From his youth, he left the royal palace and embarked on numerous adventures, achieving many military feats, including defeating the Nibelungen tribe and obtaining their treasure, the famous sword Balmung, and the invisible cloak, which he used to defeat the evil dragon Fafnir.
After bathing in the blood of dragons and drinking their dew, Siegfried became immortal and could no longer be injured on the battlefield.
However, his glorious glory began to fade when he married the Burgundian princess Kriemhild.
As a result of granting his brother-in-law's wish, his brother-in-law's wife and Kriemhild came into conflict, forcing Siegfried to die in order to prevent a war.
Having always lived up to people's expectations, the last thing they wanted was for him to die.

Abilities

Utilizing his superior swordsmanship and immortal body, befitting a Saber, he employs suicidal tactics, assuming he will be attacked.
His close-quarters abilities are enough to rival the great hero Lancer of Red. Thanks to the "Evil Dragon's Blood Armor," he boasts excellent durability, and in the story, even A-rank attacks from Lancer of Red and Archer of Red only caused minor damage.
Furthermore, by obtaining a dragon's heart, he possesses the attributes of a "dragon kind" despite being a dragon slayer.
However, perhaps due to his mythology, his luck is extremely low. If there were negative values, he would be classified as -EX, making him an extremely unlucky Servant.

Noble Phantasm: Phantasm Greatsword - The Fall of the Demon (Balmung)

A sword of twilight with the properties of a magic sword.
The blue gem embedded in the hilt stores true ether, which is used to activate it with its true name. Releasing its true name unleashes a wave of twilight that spreads in a semicircle centered on the greatsword.
Like Gram, it deals additional damage to those of dragon descent.
Compared to other anti-army Noble Phantasms, it requires very little charge to activate, allowing for follow-up attacks and multiple attacks.

Overview

He first made his full appearance and played a major role in "Fate/Apocrypha" as Saber of the "Red" faction.
During the Holy Grail War, he was summoned by Shishigo Kairi, a necromancer hired by the Mage's Association to oppose the Yggdmillennia Clan, using a fragment of the Round Table as a catalyst.

Character Profile

A young swordsman under 20 years old, clad in silver armor. His appearance is the spitting image of King Arthur. Though he appears female, he is actually male. He is one of the Knights of the Round Table, and holds the lowest rank. He is the son of Artoria and Morgan. He usually wears armor with horns reminiscent of a sheep, hiding his true face.
He has a calm personality and speaks politely and respectfully, even to his enemies.
His appearance is extremely similar to Saber's, making it nearly impossible to tell them apart by face alone.
However, there are some subtle differences, such as the lack of a stray hair, thin eyebrows, short sideburns, and pale skin.

Although she looks exactly like a woman, she gets angry when treated like one. That said, she also gets angry when treated like a man.

Similarly, she gets angry at King Arthur, whether he's praised or criticized her, making her a very troublesome character.

She enjoys materializing, and when not in combat, she wears casual clothes bought for her by Shishiko. However, these are not men's clothing, but rather a revealing midriff-baring tube top and bright red leather jacket.

Her criteria for choosing clothes is "ease of movement," so she doesn't seem to particularly consider whether others perceive her as feminine.

True Name

Mordred is one of the Knights of the Round Table in Arthurian legend, and the illegitimate son of King Arthur.

He is a "cloned homunculus," supposedly born from the magical powers of his half-sister Morgan, who is said to have been born as a descendant of King Arthur, in order to frame him. Mordred himself respected King Arthur and was proud that he was his father. He did not act according to Morgan's wishes, and instead sought to be a fine knight recognized by his father.
Frustrated with her showing no signs of rebellion against her father, Morgan told her the secret of her birth. As a homunculus, Mordred would grow quickly but would have a short lifespan, and a prophecy had prophesied that she was destined to destroy Britain.
She revealed her origins to the king and recommended herself as his successor, but the king refused to accept her as either his successor or his son. In despair, Mordred finally sided with Morgan.
Her fierce, life-threatening fighting style is said to have driven others to the battlefield insane.
She became a charismatic leader of the feudal lords.
As legend has it, she met her end at the Hill of Camlann, killed by the king's spear in a mutual kill, bringing an end to her short life.
This mutual kill dealt the final blow to Britain, which was already beginning to crumble, leading to its complete collapse.

Desire for the Holy Grail

Her desire for the Holy Grail is to "challenge the Sword of Selection."
She boasts, "There's no way I can't pull it out!" and believes that drawing the sword will be proof that she has "King Arthur's approval."
However, when the Black Rider asks her, "What kind of king do you want to be?" she realizes she doesn't have an answer. While she evades the question by saying, "A wise ruler, not a tyrant," the incident forces her to reconsider the kind of king she wants to be.

Abilities

She is an exceptionally skilled swordsman, possessing a rough, unconventional style of swordsmanship.
While displaying the ferocity of a Berserker, he also possesses the caution to step back and remain cautious if he intuitively senses danger. This makes him a highly stable Servant, with all of his abilities exceptionally high, befitting the Swordsman class.

Helmet of Infidelity (Secret of Pedigree)

Given by Morgan to conceal his origins, he wore this helmet until he revealed his true identity.
As long as it's equipped, even his Master cannot see his unique skills or Noble Phantasm. It also prevents him from ascertaining his true identity from the design of his sword or his battle impressions, making it impossible to even guess his true name. It also slightly blocks external interference, such as poison, while equipped.
Incidentally, the ability to wear casual clothes is canceled when the helmet is stored in his armor (becoming part of the armor through transformation or movement), so it functions without any problems even when he's changing clothes. In other words, removing the helmet while wearing armor removes its concealment effect, but it remains effective when wearing casual clothes, i.e., neither the armor nor the helmet are equipped. However, since it merely conceals its true name, it will no longer have any effect on the opponent once their true name is revealed.

The Brilliant King's Sword (Clarent)

A silver-white sword praised as "more dazzling than any silver." Mordred's main weapon, it is usually wielded in this state during battle.
Originally stored in the Wallingford armory for the king's coronation, Mordred seized it during his rebellion and used it in the Battle of Camlann.
It is a precious sword worthy of comparable value to King Arthur's "Golden Sword of Victory," but its rank was degraded when Mordred seized it without the consent of its original wielder.

Finally, thank you for reading to the end.
