The 2019 summer anime season has begun! I've watched a lot of works that I know the original work of and those that I don't, but I'm curious to see what happens next in Firly Gone! So, even though I don't know the original work, I'm going to desperately watch the anime and talk about my predictions and impressions! I'm looking forward to your predictions from those who don't know the original work! If you do, please watch it and smile to yourself!
Thoughts and predictions for the development First, the world view!
The flashback begins in 481 of the Tong calendar, and the story moves on to 505 of the Tong calendar. What is U.E.? The Gregorian calendar we use is said to have started the year after the birth of Christ, and just as we write BC (before Christmas), UE must have some kind of meaning. Since the word emperor appears, it may be something like Unified by Emperor, meaning that it was unified by an emperor in the past. The story takes place in the world after the whole of Eastald has been unified by Emperor Zeskia.
Thoughts and Predictions for the Development Fairy Soldiers
The fairy soldiers are the main focus of the story. In the story, the fairy soldiers' hearts glowed when they used fairies. I think that a nucleus-like thing inside a fairy can be attached to a human heart to activate the fairy. And the title of the original work, "Five Fairly Schlars," which was drawn at the time of the anime theme song, literally translates to five fairy scholars. For that reason, there are five main characters who are fairy soldiers. And they are doing some kind of research on fairies, aren't they?
The main candidates for fairy soldiers are Maria, Free, Veronica, Wolf, and the other one hasn't appeared yet.
Impressions and development predictions What research are they doing?
The key word was the black fairy book. Black is a color that is inherently unlucky. In Japan, crows used to come to graveyards to collect offerings, so it was a color strongly associated with the dead. For that reason, there are bad people who use black fairies, and Dorothea's mission is to defeat them, isn't it? And isn't she researching the fusion of black fairies, normal fairies, and humans?
Thoughts and predictions for the development of the story Why Suna was burned down
Isn't the reason Suna was burned down because she can see fairies? To become a fairy soldier, one probably needs to come into contact with a fairy and have a fairy core fused within their body. To that end, both Veronica and Maria may be able to see fairies, and by fusing them with their bodies, they may have become fairy users. However, considering that Maria has not yet fused with a fairy, there may be other conditions to come into contact with a fairy, such as a strong desire to protect someone and the fairy having to agree to this.
Thoughts and predictions for the story's current ending
As stated clearly at the end of episode 1, I expect the story's ending when Marlia, who seems to be the main character, says, "I want to talk to Veronica properly." Will Veronica eventually become a companion, or will she merge with the Black Fairy (like Sasuke and Orochimaru)? Or will she become a companion quite early on, but in the background, like early Piccolo.
Thoughts and predictions for the plot - Key points from episode 1
- Veronica and Maria are old friends from Suna
- Veronica stole the black fairy book
- Fairy soldiers' hearts glow
- Maria became a fairy soldier
- Looks interesting for now
That's all for now!
I'm looking forward to next week!
