When it comes to Shonen Jump manga with battle scenes, one of the most interesting things is the ranking of the characters' strength! Of course, Dr. Stone is packed with battle scenes, so it's no wonder who's the strongest. So, this time, we'll be introducing the Top 10 strongest characters in the Stone World!

10th Place: Senku Ishigami

Senku giving a fist pump

Our pick for 10th place goes to Senku Ishigami, the series' protagonist! You might be wondering, "10th place for the protagonist?!", but Senku's strength is probably on that level. To be honest, I was torn between him and Chrome, but I chose him at 10th place because of his victory over Ginrou in the Imperial Tournament and his hero bonus.

If he used the power of science, he could rival Tsukasa's rank!

Senku Screaming

Senku's 10th place ranking is based solely on his own power. If Senku had used more advanced scientific power, his ranking would rise dramatically, even to the point of being tied for first place. Among these, the most powerful weapon is gunpowder. Even Tsukasa felt that he had no chance of winning against Senku's guns, which were made with gunpowder.

9th Place: Ginrou

Ginrou attacking Tsukasa

Our ninth place pick is Ginrou from the Kingdom of Science. While he's become known as a wimpy comedic character in recent years, he's also one of the gatekeepers guarding the bridge alongside Kinrou. When fighting seriously, he demonstrates his considerable abilities. He also demonstrates surprising courage, such as launching a coordinated attack on Tsukasa in crucial moments.

8th Place: Momiji Homura

Homura Eating Cotton Candy

In 9th place is Homura, who served as a watchdog for the Science Kingdom from the Tsukasa Empire. While she may be slightly inferior to the other members in terms of combat ability, her unique background as a former gymnast gives her agile movements and speed that rivals Kohaku's. Her stealthy actions, such as taking advantage of an opportunity during combat to set fire to Ishigami Village, are also unusual.

7th Place: Magma

Magma Declares Himself the Strongest

Our seventh place pick is Magma from the Kingdom of Science. From his first appearance, he was portrayed as a typical muscle-brained villain, but in terms of power alone, he's undoubtedly the number one in Ishigami Village! (Though he's inferior to Taiju in the Kingdom of Science...) His original personality is cruel, and he even tried to kill Gen before the Imperial Match because he thought he was getting in the way. By the way, in Ishigami Village, where strength equals popularity, he was apparently the most popular character (lol).

6th Place: Kinrou

Kinrou Holding a Shield

Our sixth place pick is Kinrou, another gatekeeper from the Kingdom of Science. He has a serious and strict personality and can be inflexible, but his skills as a gatekeeper are far superior to Ginrou's. Incidentally, his fighting power in this state is inferior to that of Magma, and according to Kohaku, if his fighting power is 1000, Kinrou's is around 500.

Golden Wolf Wears Glasses and Overcomes His Blurred Behavior

Golden Wolf Wearing a Watermelon Hat

There's also an image of Kinrou wearing regular glasses, but I liked Ginro's watermelon glasses so much, so I chose this one (lol). With his glasses, Kinrou has overcome his blurred behavior and can now accurately judge distances, allowing him to overwhelm Magma in the Imperial Match. He's slender, but his muscles are perfectly toned. And best of all, his intimidating presence is the best! (lol)

5th Place: Ukyo Saionji

Ukyo listens carefully to sounds

In fifth place is Ukyo from the Tsukasa Empire! His greatest weapons are his extraordinary hearing and long-range shooting ability with a bow! His extraordinary hearing apparently comes from his previous role as a submarine sonarman in the Self-Defense Forces. His skills are so impressive that, along with Tsukasa and Hyotsuki, he's said to be one of the top three in the Tsukasa Empire. However, unlike the two, he's a pacifist whose ideal is to ensure no one dies. This is something you'd expect from a former Self-Defense Forces member.

4th Place: Taiju Ooki

Taiju Tries to Become a Substitute

Fourth place goes to Senku's partner, Taiju, from the Kingdom of Science! He's a quintessential muscle-brained character, with a sturdy build and a brain made of muscle. He can't think of difficult things, but he has no hesitation in putting his body on the line to protect his comrades. He possesses the power and stamina that his appearance suggests, and he once effortlessly lifted a petrified bonfire. He also overwhelmed others with his limitless stamina when working in the fields.

Taiju is strong, but he doesn't attack

Taiju running quickly

Taiju boasts extremely high levels of both power and stamina, but he does have a fatal weakness in combat: he never attacks, no matter the situation. He adheres to a completely defensive stance, which makes him a reliable shield in battle, but makes him difficult to use as a fighter. Even so, he possesses extraordinary potential, as evidenced by his ability to block Tsukasa's attacks.

Third Place: Kohaku

Kohaku Crushing Rocks

Our third place pick is Kohaku from the Kingdom of Science! Despite being a girl, she's the strongest character in Ishigami Village, boasting superhuman speed and power honed in the wild. She also boasts exceptional eyesight of 11.0! She can clearly see objects far away that are completely invisible to the average person. Before the Imperial Tournament, she trained with the Golden Wolves, and naturally dominated them.

Second Place: Hyoga

Hyoga Stands in the Way of the Kingdom of Science

Our second place pick is Hyoga from the Tsukasa Empire! While he holds a No. 2 position in the Tsukasa Empire, he often seeks to take the top spot by exploiting Tsukasa's weaknesses. The long spear he uses as a weapon is called a tubular spear, and by rotating it, he can accurately pierce vital points, preventing the enemy from predicting its trajectory. He also possesses the most cruel mindset in the series, and has no hesitation in killing both friend and foe.

1st Place: Shishio Tsukasa

The Charismatic Tsukasa

And so, our honorable #1 pick is none other than Tsukasa Shishio! As the head of the Tsukasa Kingdom, Tsukasa possesses overwhelming charisma and is literally the strongest primate! Shortly after his return, he defeated a lion with his bare hands, and although he doesn't invent anything, he's no match for Senku in intellectual combat. He's also intelligent and doesn't particularly enjoy pointless battles, but due to past events, he's merciless towards adults and the elderly, even destroying stone statues.

Strongest Characters Ranking Summary

Dr. STONE Title Image

So, what did you think of the ranking of strength in the Stone World? Senku was ranked 10th, but if we take a scientific approach, I think he'd still be in the top 3. That said, the unanimous no. 1 among the living is Shishio Tsukasa. In the manga, he's severely injured and frozen, but we can't wait for his future recovery.
