A ceasefire agreement is signed between the Kingdom of Science and the Tsukasa Empire, and it seems like the matter is closed...or so you'd think. But then, as if waiting for this opportunity, Hyotsuki betrays Tsukasa, and Tsukasa is pierced by a spear in the chest while trying to protect his sister. Tsukasa falls off a cliff into the river...and Senku grabs his hand tightly, trying to save him. The two have been fighting for ages, but this is a memorable scene in which Senku and Tsukasa literally hold hands.

Despite sustaining a fatal wound, Tsukasa's strong willpower allowed him to rise and attack Hyougetsu.
