Inosuke is truly a boy who was raised by wild boars!

Inosuke's most distinctive feature is undoubtedly the boar headgear he wears. The reason he always wears the boar headgear is because he was raised by wild boars as a child. He's been wearing the headgear since he was a child, and it's not just a fashion statement, but perhaps he grew up thinking of himself as a member of the wild boar family.

Of course, his parents were respectable humans. Inosuke was an abandoned child.

Inosuke was raised by wild boars, but of course, his biological parents were human. In one scene in the manga, a crying woman, likely the mother, is seen soaked in blood as she prepares to abandon Inosuke on a cliff. Seeing her apologizing as she abandons him, it seems there must have been some reason behind her abandonment. The fact that his body is covered in blood is also intriguing...

Inosuke can speak thanks to his grandfather!

Inosuke grew up raised by wild boars, but because his parents were boars, he never learned to speak. All he could say was a "vroom" growl. The reason he was able to speak, however, was because an old man would read to him. By the way, this old man is believed to be a complete stranger to Inosuke.

As a child, Inosuke walked on all fours, panting. He already had a boar headgear on his head, and the old man must have thought he was some kind of mysterious animal as he scattered rice crackers and other treats on the ground to give to Inosuke. This led Inosuke to call this place his territory, and he seemed to have grown quite attached to the old man.

Inosuke's breathing technique is his own version of the "Beast Breathing Technique."

While various breathing techniques appear in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Inosuke's Beast Breathing Technique is unique to him. Inosuke has mastered the breathing technique on his own and passed the exam to become a corps member. It seems his original abilities are quite impressive. Incidentally, there are currently eight Beast Breathing techniques, up to and including Form 8.

Cross-dressing failed!? Inosuke and the others have become ugly.

In the Yoshiwara Entertainment District Arc, Inosuke infiltrates the town disguised as Inoko to rescue Tengen's wife, Makio. Even among the miserable cross-dressing, Inosuke's presence stands out in particular. For some reason, their tongues are sticking out of their mouths (lol), which even made the buyer exclaim, "They're so ugly..."

They look completely different when you remove the makeup! The Super Handsome Inosuke

Inoko infiltrates the basement covered in makeup, but the makeup is quickly removed once she arrives. What emerges is a perfectly beautiful young woman (in her prime). Inoko, who was originally ugly, was sold off at a low price, but the buyer is delighted. Even without makeup, Inosuke can be mistaken for a girl... His long hair is a factor, but he's impressive.

Inosuke grasps the situation with his sharp, wild instincts

The first time Inosuke witnessed the battle between the Pillars and the Upper Rank demons, he was completely unable to move. Even though he wanted to help, his instincts told him that getting involved in the fight would only make him a hindrance. Normally, Inosuke is known for charging headlong into anything, but he showed a calm side at this crucial moment.

A desperate situation?! Inosuke has been stabbed through the heart!

Unlike his previous battles with Upper Rank demons where he was unable to move, this was the first time he had even taken part in a battle with an Upper Rank demon. However, Inosuke was caught off guard and stabbed through the heart with a scythe from behind, mercilessly piercing his chest. What's more, the scythe contained a powerful poison... Inosuke seemed doomed, but...

Although Inosuke's heart was pierced, he rejoined the battle. How is Inosuke able to move even though his heart has been pierced? It's because he's taken advantage of the flexibility of his body to shift the position of his internal organs. It's a completely crazy reason, but his quick thinking to move his internal organs just before being caught off guard and stabbed is impressive.

Poison doesn't work on Inosuke, who grew up in the rugged mountains! (Big lie)

By the way, the sickle that pierced Inosuke's body was coated with deadly poison, but Inosuke says that he grew up in a rugged mountain, so even poison doesn't work on him. However, as he was coughing up blood, it was clear that he was still suffering from damage... After the battle, Inosuke was found on the ground, seriously injured and near death, when he was rescued by Tanjiro and the others. It seems that the poison is effective after all.

Inosuke Has Difficulty Remembering People's Names

Inosuke's grandfather read to him as a child, allowing him to speak everyday conversation. However, he's not very smart, and he has trouble remembering people's names. The scene is set with him without any headgear and a serious expression on his face, but he ruins it by mistake saying "Souichiro"... He has also gotten Tanjiro's name wrong on other occasions.

Inosuke has always lived by his senses. He has a keen eye for people, and when he first saw the Rock Pillar, he instantly recognized that Himejima was the strongest member of the Demon Slayer Corps. In fact, Himejima is described by Tengen as "mysterious" and is the only one to receive top-secret missions from Ubuyashiki, making him a truly special figure within the Demon Slayer Corps. It was a truly Inosuke-esque scene.

Inosuke and his companions were seriously injured in the battle with the demon. Among them, Tanjiro remained asleep for a long time, refusing to wake up. However, when he woke up, along with the girls around him cheering, he saw Inosuke clinging to the ceiling, though he had no idea how... At first, Tanjiro thought he was mistaken, but it was real. Perhaps Inosuke was worried in his own way?

The chipped blade is the key feature of Inosuke's sword

Each member of the Demon Slayer Corps has their Nichirin sword forged by a swordsmith. Inosuke's Nichirin sword was actually stolen from another member of the Corps in a test of strength. By the way, as you can see, Inosuke's sword has a bad chip in the blade, but he is said to be proud of its "sharpness that can rip through things." We don't know if that's true or not, but it may suit the Breathing of the Beast.

Even the blacksmith was furious when his teeth were torn to shreds right in front of his eyes!

Even a Nichirin sword with such a badly chipped blade once broke during a battle with a demon. At the time, the swordsmith had painstakingly crafted a Nichirin sword just for Inosuke, but... as soon as Inosuke saw the beautiful, newly finished Nichirin sword, he smashed it against a rock, causing the blade to chip and fall apart. This made the swordsmith furious, and Tanjiro had to apologize frantically.

Inosuke loses his confidence in battle...

Inosuke becomes depressed and quiet

Inosuke is always reckless and energetic, but he's surprisingly vulnerable, and when he realizes his own powerlessness in battle, he becomes so depressed that he becomes like a completely different person. His voice was so quiet it was practically faint, even confusing Tanjiro. He even apologized for being so weak afterward (lol).

Once Inosuke gets depressed, he's hard to bounce back from. In order to bring Inosuke back to normal, Tanjiro and Zenitsu, who were also affected, spend every day encouraging him from either side of the bed. But even so, Inosuke just won't recover... His unresponsive, motionless appearance in the middle of the bed is somehow surreal and hilarious.

When Nezuko had overcome the sun and was able to speak a little, Inosuke, who arrived before Zenitsu, desperately tried to help her remember his name. And for some reason, he tries to get her to call him "boss." As a result, Nezuko ends up calling Zenitsu "Inosuke" even when she sees him.

Charging headlong! A wild child! Inosuke summary!

So far, what do you think of the reckless Inosuke? It seems a bit of a shame to see him wearing a boar headgear, considering he's such a handsome character, but that headgear is what makes him Inosuke what he is. I hope he continues to charge into everything with this recklessness.
