The anime "Yagate Kimi ni Naru" has been airing since October 2018. It is based on the manga of the same name by Nakatani Nio, which is currently being serialized in the manga magazine "Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh". The story begins with the protagonist, Koito Yuu, a first-year high school student who does not understand the feeling of falling in love, being confessed to by a close friend at the time of graduating from junior high school, but not being able to reply. After entering high school, she is still struggling to reply, so she consults with Nanami Touko, a second-year student and member of the student council. Nanami says that she is not moved by anyone who confesses to her, but immediately after hearing Koito's consultation, she confesses, "I think I'm falling in love with you"... This is a work that depicts the love story between Koito and Nanami. This time, I would like to introduce Hinata Akari, a friend of Koito Yuu, the protagonist of "Yagate Kimi ni Naru".

Hinata Akari is a first-year high school student at Tomi Higashi High School. She is a classmate of the main character Koito Yuu, and often hangs out with Koito and the book-loving Kanae Koyomi. She is a member of the basketball club and is a lively character. She seems to have such high physical abilities that she was selected to compete in the inter-club relay at the sports festival. She is about a head taller than Kanae and has an older sister-like appearance.

Hinata Akari has a cool vibe, but the reason she enrolled in Tomi Higashi High School is because her favorite senior enrolled there. Furthermore, since that senior is a member of the basketball club, Hinata also joins the basketball club. She has such a cute side to her.

Hinata Akari enrolled in Tomi Higashi High School to pursue a senior she liked. However, after enrolling, she was dumped. The senior didn't have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, and the reason was that he wanted to focus on basketball. So Hinata thought she would wait until the senior retired from the club. However, before the school festival, it turns out that Hinata already had a girlfriend. The girlfriend is the captain of the girls' basketball team. He kept it a secret because he didn't want to upset the atmosphere in the team. However, even after finding out, Hinata still loves her senior, and her honesty is one of her charms.
