Ougi Oshino first appeared in the Bakemonogatari series' "Kagemonogatari." She is a first-year transfer student at Naoetsu Private High School. She has short hair, a uniform with long sleeves that cover her hands, and pale skin. She wears black stockings on her legs, except for her knee-length skirt. While she may appear cute at first glance, her eyes are a completely devoid of any radiance, a pitch black. They reveal no expression or emotion.
Oshino Meme's Niece?
She calls herself "Oshino Meme's niece." The truth is revealed later, but everyone except Hanekawa Tsubasa simply accepts the title. She was introduced by Kanbaru Suruga as a fan and junior colleague, and became close to the protagonist, Araragi Koyomi. She is an avowed fan of mystery novels, and sometimes provides Araragi with guidance on the story, helping him solve mysteries.

When she first appeared in "Kagemonogatari," she was portrayed as a creepy underclassman, and her true identity was completely unknown. She told Araragi Koyomi about the moment when all the traffic lights turned red, and immediately called Araragi "a fool." There's still little information about her.

For some reason, in "Hanamonogatari," Ougi Oshino appears as a high school boy. His pale skin and jet-black eyes remain the same, but he wears black gloves, a school uniform, and appears before Kanbaru Suruga in a completely different appearance, riding a bicycle. He tells Kanbaru Suruga about the existence of the "Devil," which leads to Kanbaru becoming involved again with the "Monkey's Paw" phenomenon.

Ougi Oshino is back in her high school girl form. She appears in front of Sengoku Nadeko on her bicycle, and despite it being their first meeting, she knows her name. Afterwards, he introduces himself in a deliberately exaggerated way, making Sengoku Nadeko wary. It was at this time that Oshino Ogi created the opportunity for Sengoku Nadeko to later become a god. He told her about the existence of the "sacred talisman" at the Araragi household, and also gave her the "mouth ring" scrunchie that was the catalyst for her "reverse Nadeko". What on earth was he thinking?

Although he doesn't appear directly, the middle school student who attacked the expert "Kaiki Doshu" said, "It was just as Ougi said...!" It appears that he instigated the middle school student and led him to attack Kaiki.

She appeared before Araragi and Ononoki Yotsugi on their way to see the specialist "Teori Seiji." While she appeared innocent, it was actually she who had requested Teori Seiji to "exterminate" Araragi and Kiss-Shot. Oshino Ogi has been the catalyst for many of the incidents up to this point. Ononoki Yotsugi has said that he is "someone's doing it" and "he's probably the mastermind."

In "Ougimonogatari," Ougi Ougi competes with Tsubasa Hanekawa to solve the mystery of Araragi's childhood friend, Iku Oikura's mother. For some reason, she doesn't seem to get along with Hanekawa, and when confronted by Ougi, Hanekawa displays expressions and lines never before seen. And in "Owarimonogatari," Ougi Ogi's true identity is finally revealed.

Ougi Ogi. Her true identity is a "supernatural phenomenon." To be precise, she is a "supernatural phenomenon that embodies Araragi Koyomi's self-denial." In "Owarimonogatari," Gaen Izuko reveals Oshino Ogi's true identity. Gaen Izuko calls her "Dark Koyomin."
How She Was Born
The origin of the supernatural Oshino Ogi begins when the protagonist, Araragi Koyomi, encounters the mysterious "Darkness." The "Darkness," which destroys anything unrighteous, appears when the lost cow, Hachikuji Mayoi, fails to fulfill her duties, and attempts to destroy her. This raises questions for Araragi, who wonders why someone as good and innocent as Hachikuji could be destroyed, and why someone like him...
"Self-Criticism"
Later, Kanbaru Suruga's "Rainy Devil" power was absorbed by Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, a legendary vampire with the power to materialize objects, through the First Generation of Families, and eventually reached Araragi Koyomi. Araragi Koyomi's "Self-Criticism" was then materialized through the power of numerous supernatural phenomena, resulting in "Ogi Oshino."
"Mistakes are mistakes. Judge what is wrong." Supernatural phenomenon
Araragi Koyomi created this "Mistakes are mistakes. Judge what is wrong." This supernatural phenomenon is different from "Darkness." However, it's important to note that this is a different entity from "Darkness."
Slaying Ougi Ougi

In "Owarimonogatari" Ougi Dark, Ougi Ougi was defeated. Ougi Ougi claims to be Meme Ougi's niece and is like a "darkness imitator." The solution is to expose her existence, expose her lies, and destroy her with the real "Darkness."
Recognized
However, her existence was acknowledged by Araragi Koyomi and by Oshino Meme, a paranormal expert brought by her "archenemy," Hanekawa Tsubasa. Her lie became the truth, and the "Darkness" vanished without engulfing Oshino Ogi.
Misconception
Even though the real "Darkness" existed, Ogi Ogi pretended to be a "Darkness Imitation." As Gaen Izuko explained, she herself believed herself to be the "Darkness." This paranormal phenomenon was originally born when Araragi Koyomi learned of the existence of the "Darkness." As a paranormal phenomenon that corrects the wrongs of Araragi Koyomi's unforgiveness, Oshino Ogi secretly engages in numerous incidents as a "Darkness Imitation."

"I am you, Araragi-senpai." True to his words, Ougi Oshino is the "Dark Koyomi" born from Araragi Koyomi. Despite knowing that Araragi Koyomi was born from him, he believes he is the incarnation of "darkness" and continues to criticize him as a "dark imitation."
What a fool!

He repeatedly criticizes Araragi Koyomi, calling him a "fool," and speaks negatively of him. However, Araragi Koyomi, as a cute junior, would sometimes accompany her on fieldwork, listen to her words of wisdom and solve mysteries, and in a sense, become a special person to Araragi Koyomi.
Being saved
In "Owarimonogatari," Araragi saves Ogi just before she is consumed by the "Darkness." It was the first time that Araragi, who had always acted for others, acted to save herself (Ogi). The famous quote by Oshino Meme, "People only save themselves on their own," comes to mind.
Tsubasa Hanekawa and Ougi Oshino

Tsubasa Hanekawa is Ougi's nemesis. While Ougi is usually respectful but rude to his other seniors, he's extremely provocative towards Hanekawa. However, when facing Hanekawa, he loses his usual composure and directly attacks her, calling her things like "that guy Hanekawa" and "Hanekawa boobs." In "Owarimonogatari," he and Araragi engage in a fierce battle over who will go to Iku Oikura's house.
Provoking Ogi
Incidentally, he takes advantage of Hanekawa's famous line, "I don't know everything. I only know what I know," and insults her, saying, "You really don't know anything, Hanekawa-senpai." Oshino Ogi was wary of Hanekawa Tsubasa throughout the encounter. One theory is that the name Ogi comes from the character for "feather" (hane) with the character for "door" (to) stuck in it.
Kanbaru Suruga and Ougi Ogi

After Araragi Koyomi, Kanbaru Suruga is the character most closely related to Ougi Ogi. When she first appeared, Ougi was introduced as Kanbaru Suruga's junior. While Kanbaru Suruga doted on Ougi at the time, her attitude toward her changed dramatically in "Hanamonogatari." She treats Kanbaru coldly. Ougi, meanwhile, treats her seniors with the same "polite but rude" attitude she always does.
A Surprising Change
Kanbaru Suruga has calmed down since Araragi Koyomi and Senjougahara Hitagi graduated, and her character has completely changed. What's more, Ougi Oshino has even changed gender, so it's hard to understand what's going on... What on earth happened after Araragi and the others graduated?
