Episode 2 of the anime Astra Lost in Space has been released. It appears Kitri and Funicia have made up. Kanata is so athletically gifted that it makes you think, "Oh, that's Takei So!" They're safe and sound, and they've even secured water, so I'm curious to see what the rest of their journey will be like. Once again, I'll share my thoughts and analysis without any spoilers.
A Brief Summary of Episode 2
The group arrives in Vilavars. They head into the mountains to secure food. There, they're attacked again by the mysterious sphere. They somehow manage to escape. First and foremost, they need food. Meanwhile, Kitri becomes cold towards Funicia over a trivial matter. Kitri goes into the forest alone, and the group follows her. There, Funicia's trampoline-like plant grows too tall, putting her life in danger. Kanata Hoshijima appears. A former decathlete, he performs a record-breaking jump and safely rescues Funicia. The sisters reconcile, and the matter is resolved.

Episode 2 of the anime: Zack and Charles support Kanata's dream
In the second half of episode 2 of the anime, Zack decides to board the ship with Kanata to help him in the future, when he becomes a space explorer, in order to conduct space research. Charles vows to be his right-hand man. This comes from Kitri's revelation that Kanata is unfit to be captain. Kanata trained in the decathlon under the influence of his father, but his mentor and his experience of a mountain accident led him to aspire to become a space explorer. It's no exaggeration to say that his dream is coming true. Although he's lost.
Episode 2 of the Anime: Ulgar and Yun-Hat Once Again Stay in the Shadows
Ulgar and Yun-Hat, who were fetching water, were overwhelmingly overshadowed in this episode. All we know about Yun-Hat is that he has a loud voice. Ulgar was seen holding onto his luggage carefully in episode 1. Will these two be portrayed in this light until the end of the anime? There's still a lot we don't know about the crew, but I'm already looking forward to episode 3.
