Although the scene where she makes candles was only shown briefly in the anime and cut out, Myne did make scented candles while preparing for winter. She makes something like an aroma candle by putting herbs inside a candle, but it only appeared in the winter preparation digest scene in episode 2 of the anime and when she used it next to her bed when she was bedridden. Making paper is essential for making books. After a detour using clay tablets and pseudo-papyrus, Myne and Lutz finally succeeded in making paper from plants with the help of artisans over time. The best quality is Trombe paper
Plants are used to make this paper, and when submitting two pieces of paper to Benno, the one Benno deemed the better quality was Trombe paper. However, Trombe is a magical tree that grows at any time, and depending on its growth, it can destroy the forest and require the military to be deployed, making it a troublesome tree.
