Who is Misaka Mikoto from A Certain Magical Index?

Misaka Mikoto, a familiar character from A Certain Magical Index, is a junior high school student at Tokiwadai Junior High School, a prestigious school in Academy City. Academy City is a unique city where 80% of the population are students, and it is a city of chemistry, using some of the most advanced technology in the world. They have put psychic power development into practical use and are administering it to all students. Among them, a ranking is determined based on power, and Misaka's abilities rank third in Academy City!
An unusual personality for a heroine!?

Misaka's abilities rival those of adults, but she's still only a second-year junior high school student. However, compared to her classmates, she still has a childish side, wears shorts under her skirt (for ease of movement), and shows a short-tempered side towards Kamijou Touma, the protagonist of A Certain Magical Index (she's a tsundere). She also gets excited when people around her say her pajamas make her look "like an elementary school student," and inside she's an innocent and pure girl!
She is looked upon with admiration by those around her!

A rich young lady from Tokiwadai Middle School, she's kind (to everyone except Touma), reliable, and beautiful. She's also the pinnacle of talent among electrical-related psychics, and is the envy of everyone. Although she dislikes it, she has quite a fan base, including her dorm mate and junior, Shirai Kuroko. Her presence is so great that her fans call her "Big Sister." She's like a prince at a girls' high school.

The Railgun is Misaka's special move, and she even calls herself by her nickname. Misaka's ability is called "Electromaster." It's so cool! Although originally a Level 1, through extraordinary effort she has now attained the power of a Level 5. This hard work is one of Misaka's charms, and the reason why girls like Shirai adore her!

The railgun is Misaka's special move. She uses coins from arcades and other locations to flick them with her thumb, turning them into bullets that can be fired at more than three times the speed of sound. Her attack power is incredible, enough to blow a 2m hole in a building and then burn the surrounding area with a shock wave. Misaka is primarily known for her long-range attacks, and her wide variety of attacks, centered around her railgun, are notable for their sheer number of moves. They look flashy and cool!

One of the techniques frequently used in the series is the "Electric Spear." It generates a high-voltage current in the head, moves it to the hand, and throws it in one go, resulting in an extremely powerful technique. The voltage is 100 million volts. It can also generate lightning strikes. It's truly terrifying.
She also has outstanding physical abilities!

She's also skilled in martial arts, particularly the roundhouse kick. Standing at 161 cm tall and with a well-trained physique, her kicks are strong enough to knock men flying. He also uses the impact of a roundhouse kick to get free drinks from malfunctioning vending machines in the park he often visits (don't try this at home kids).

In A Certain Scientific Railgun, a spin-off of A Certain Magical Index, Misaka played the main character. The story told from Misaka's perspective and the circumstances surrounding her kept me on the edge of my seat. This is also highly recommended, so please check it out! It's full of cool things about Misaka. It's a spin-off because it's so popular!

When the Chemistry Team noticed Misaka's abilities as a child, they agreed to provide her with a DNA map for the treatment of her incurable muscular dystrophy. This would become a source of worry for Misaka later on. Of course, the above treatment was a lie, and in reality, she was used as a Level 6 shifter for Accelerator, the number one ranked Level 5 in Academy City, as part of an "Absolute Ability Evolution Experiment." The abilities of her clone sisters, who were born using Misaka's DNA, were significantly inferior to Misaka (the original), and a total of 10,000 people were killed by Accelerator. The kind-hearted Misaka could not bear this and risked her own life to try to save them! She is a girl with courage and a sense of justice.
