The Magical Society Reserve Force, featured in "A Certain Magical Index," is a small-scale organization similar to a club, unable to perform the same tasks as a magical society. Naturally, the people who belong to it cannot be called magicians. However, all of the members of this new Light are magicians to some degree, and in volume 17 of the original manga, they discovered a certain spiritual outfit. Using this spiritual outfit, they spread false information that a major incident was to occur in London (specifically, targeting the royal family), and then split into four, disrupting the organization's plans. This led the Church of Necessary Evil to search all over London in an attempt to capture them all. All members possess the "Great Ship's Bag" and the "Steel Gloves," and they also each possess a spiritual outfit that can be used as a weapon. Beyrope possesses the "Horse of Knowledge," Lesser possesses the "Tail," Floris possesses the "Wings," and Rancis possesses the "Claws."

Their ultimate goal was to transport a certain spiritual accessory. It was Cartana Original, and their destination was the second princess, Carissa. Beyrope engaged in combat with Itsuka, while Floris engaged in combat with Kanzaki Kaori. Lesser engaged in combat with the duo of Kamijou Touma and Orianna Thomson. In the end, two of them were defeated, and even the most powerful Lesser was cornered, but their goal was achieved by Rancis, the last one thought to be in London. The reason for this was simple: Rancis wasn't even in London. Curtana the Original was sent safely, and it appears that the New Light had successfully fulfilled its mission, but Lesser was attacked by the Knights, and Floris was captured by them, so it appears they were just a handful.

Lessa is said to be the strongest character in "New Light." Her strength is supported by her spiritual outfits. These outfits are named after the Norse god "Thor." They are not gloves, but long, spear-like weapons. There are at least four of them. Although Thor's divinity as the god of thunder is now apparent, he was originally worshipped by Norse farmers as a fertility god or omnipotent deity, controlling disasters, weather, seasons, and metals. The "New Light" positions Thor's true nature as a "fertility god" rather than a god of thunder or omnipotence, and created this spiritual outfit to allow him to possess abilities other than attacks.
Steel Gloves
Thor's signature weapon, a hammer similar to the great hammer Mjolnir, is too heavy for a woman to handle. Therefore, they focused on the three tools provided to Thor by the giantess Greed in Norse mythology. They interpreted these three tools as an "iron club" that generates great destructive power, a "power belt" that enhances strength, and "iron gloves" that act as a control interface. In the original volume 20, she accompanies Kamijo on his quest to destroy Fiamma of the Right, traveling through Russia. She tries to seduce Kamijo, but he refuses to give in, so it seems she's steadily earning points as a "magician." However, she didn't give up on her seductions along the way, and Kamijou gave her a 15-minute serious lecture about it.
Witness to the Kamijou vs. Accelerator Battle
She witnessed the battle between Kamijou and Accelerator (Accelerator), and after seeing Kamijou defeat the "Black Wings," she wondered if some strange power was at work. This is likely a hint at a connection to the "Internal Being" or "Divine Purification." She was separated from Kamijou when the "Star of Bethlehem" surfaced.
