This time, after watching a variety of spring 2019 anime, I will announce what caught my interest and what I thought I should watch next in a ranking format. Whether you want to watch it all at once after the broadcast is over, or you're getting bored of the anime you're watching now and want to watch something different, please use this as a reference!
Recommended Anime Ranking #7 ULTRAMAN
This is a work that is exclusively released on Netflix and can already be seen in its entirety. The world is a few decades after the original Ultraman fought for the Earth. There, the enemy from the beginning, Bemular, appears again. And then there was Shin Hayata, who fought as Ultraman at the time. His son also has superhuman powers due to possessing Ultraman cells, and as an artificial Ultraman, he fights for the Earth. It's a really cool work, and it's a must-see for the generation that knows Ultraman!
Recommended Anime Ranking #6 MIX
A youth baseball manga drawn by Adachi Mitsuru, who has a touch of fine art. There are romance elements, but the pictures are beautiful, the pace is slow with a Showa-era anime feel, and the usual gag elements. It's a work that you can feel at ease watching. Love is also depicted in a very everyday way, so if you're tired of the reincarnation-type boom-boom-like women and burn-like relationships, please watch this.
Recommended Anime Ranking #5: Owarimonogatari Zoku
This is a story about Araragi Koyomi from the Bakemonogatari series after graduating from high school. It includes summaries of the previous stories at key points, so it's a must-see for those who have watched the Monogatari series. However, if you haven't watched this series, I don't recommend starting here. Anyway, it's a story that feels like a supplement.
Recommended Anime Ranking #4 Attack on Titan
As expected, Attack on Titan is consistently interesting. The reason why it is ranked this high is because I know the original work, so I can't get excited about it. The artwork and story structure are amazing, and I think it's no wonder it's popular. The secrets of the Titans will be revealed from now on. I hope they will continue the anime until the final episode.
Recommended Anime Ranking #3 Sarazanmai
It's an original anime, and the plot is completely unpredictable, but it's about a man who becomes a kappa and fights otters. It's a work that depicts love and desire in contrast, and skillfully expresses both human emotions while balancing them. There are plenty of highlights, such as the battle scenes that end in the blink of an eye and the songs that play along the way. It's a work where we still don't know how it will end!
Recommended Anime Ranking No. 2 Demon Slayer
I stopped reading the original manga midway through, but I got hooked on the anime. It has a good tempo and occasional comedy elements. It's the story of a boy who keeps fighting demons to save his sister who has become a demon, and the movements are cool. And the touching scenes are great. Everything is just right. That's the kind of work it is. I realized that Jump works really do cost a lot of money.
Recommended Anime Ranking #1 One Punch Man
Anyway, One Punch Man is a long one, with the main character Saitama fighting the enemy. The chaos along the way is really interesting. There is also a good sense of appropriateness from the B-class and C-class heroes, so it never gets boring to watch. The story is about a hero named Saitama who is so strangely strong that he is never satisfied no matter what he fights. In the midst of all this, he is a hero who fights the enemy. Basically, everything ends with one punch, but for some reason it's really interesting. That's the kind of work it is.
