The anime "As Miss Beelzebub Likes" has been airing since October 2018. It is based on the manga of the same name by Matoba and has been serialized in the boys' manga magazine Monthly Shonen Gangan since 2015. Eight volumes of the tankobon have been published to date. The story is set in Pandemonium, the administrative body of the demon world where former angels who fell from heaven live. The protagonist is Beelzebub, the coveted archdemon who reigns at its apex. This work is a romantic comedy that depicts the daily lives of Beelzebub, Myurin, a young man who has come to serve Beelzebub, and the people associated with Beelzebub. In this article, we'll focus on the appeal of the characters in "As Miss Beelzebub Likes" and rank them in our own way.

10th Place: Moloch

In 10th place is Moloch, a veteran demon of the Pandemonium. It's unknown where he usually works, but he's often found in libraries. Molek seems to think that his job is to act as a stepladder for Dantalion, the short library director. Molek has a loud voice and is unable to read the mood, and is often heard talking loudly even in the library, where quiet is expected. Molek seems to be an outdoorsy type, and seems to enjoy jumping rope. Perhaps thanks to jumping rope, Molek is said to have become so muscular and well-built that he is praised for it. Molek is an eccentric character who sometimes makes snowmen for himself to play with, but he is good friends with Dantalion and has a caring side to his friends.

9th Place: Adramelech

In 9th place is Adramelech, who oversees the art department at Pandemonium. He also works in charge of Beelzebub's costumes. He speaks in a style that uses phrases like "Well, that's because" and "Well, that's because," and although he is male, he is affectionately referred to as "O-nee." When Beelzebub and Belphegor were going to the beach, she was asked for advice on swimsuits, and as her nickname suggests, she is a big sister type. She seems to take pride in her work, and has even said, "I want to help people who are taking on new challenges, even in small ways, so that they can be proud of themselves."

8th Place: Eurynome

In 8th place is Eurynome, a beautiful woman with glasses who always stays silent. She loves beautiful boys, so much so that when she talks about them, she drools and her expression becomes ecstatic. When she sees a beautiful boy, she doesn't do anything in particular, and seems satisfied just by looking at him, to the point that she has said, "I want to die secretly loving and watching over a beautiful boy!!!!" However, Eurynome finds it unpleasant to see men other than boys, and when she sees any man other than a boy, her face becomes wrinkled and horrible. For this reason, she seems to keep her expression intact by converting the man in front of her into a beautiful boy in her mind. Eurynome's favorite is apparently Dantalion, the librarian at the library.

7th Place: Dantalion

In 7th place is Dantalion, the director of the Pandemonium Library. He has rabbit-like ears growing from his head. While he looks like a beautiful young man, he's surprisingly old. He's been described as a "walking library" and a "living encyclopedia sleeping in the hall of demons." He's addicted to print, a bookworm, and a book-lover, in short, a bibliophile and bibliomaniac. He loves reading so much that sometimes he even forgets to eat and gets so absorbed in reading. He says he can concentrate better when reading at night, and is often found sleeping during work hours. He's even said, "The workplace is a place to sleep, right?" He's good at choosing books to suit the person he's meeting, and when he met Murin for the first time, he chose "Graduation from Unpopular" and a book by an author that Murin was obsessed with in high school, so his choices seem to be spot on.

6th Place: Belphegor

6th place goes to Belphegor, the former Chief Angel of Demons. He is said to be friends with Beelzebub, Lord of the Palace of Demons, and they are so close that they sometimes even fight. He wears his hair in two braids that form a ring, and wears a ribbon. His nicknames include "Belphego-san" and "Gocchin." He has a distinctive accent and speaks with phrases such as "it was...". Belphegor works in the Diplomatic Department of the administrative agency Manmaden, which gathers information on the human world, and specifically belongs to the French Diplomatic Department. As a result, he can speak French, and has even taught it to Beelzebub's attendant, Myurin. However, Belphegor is stage frightened and cannot control the urge to urinate when he gets nervous or emotional. As a result, he seems to be troubled by his inability to speak well with Azazel, the man he has feelings for. This girly side of him makes him an appealing character.

5th Place: Astaroth

In fifth place is Astaroth, a former Seraphim demon. He is the Minister of Finance of the administrative agency Pandemonium. He has known Beelzebub, the Lord of Pandemonium, since their days in Heaven, and calls himself Beelzebub's "older brother." Handsome and narcissistic, Astaroth is a playboy who loves girls. He's often seen skipping work and lazing around with a girl in each arm. But Astaroth is also the type who can get things done if he sets his mind to it, and once, when he decided to build a bath in Pandemonium, he finished the job in a single day. He's also charming because he has a strong core, like a forthright person who doesn't like to cheat.

4th Place: Sargatanas

In fourth place is Sargatanas, a personal attendant to Astaroth, Minister of Finance. According to Astaroth, "he is so cold-hearted and heartless that even the demons of the Frozen Hell flee naked." Beelzebub, the Lord of the Palace of Demons, describes him as Astaroth's "protector." Sargatanas's hobby is the use of force. When Astaroth runs away from work, he fires his gun, and there are scenes where he catches her and ties her up with rope. He has a dignified and cool appearance, and is popular with women and apparently has many fans. However, Sargatanas also has a girlish side, loving cute things. He is also said to have feelings for Astaroth. However, he has difficulty being honest about his feelings, and this tsundere side is what makes him such an appealing character.

Third Place: Myurin

Third place goes to Myurin, the new head attendant serving Beelzebub, Lord of the Palace of Demons. She always wears a scarf, regardless of the season. She is a hard worker and seems to do any job seriously. She tends to worry excessively about Beelzebub, and is described by the Minister of Finance, Astaroth, as having "great motherly skills." She's also good at making witty remarks, making her a charming character who will make you smile just by watching her. However, Murin also has a shy side. Although she is interested in Beelzebub, her shyness makes it difficult for her to take the first step. Despite having this side to her, she has a charm that makes you want to root for her.

Second Place: Azazel

Second place went to Azazel, commander of the Pandemonium's special forces, the Grigori Squad. A former cherub, he is a veteran demon in the Pandemonium, on par with Beelzebub. As a member of a special forces unit, he has a well-built physique and a physically imposing appearance. Despite this, Azazel loves cute things and animals. His hobbies include collecting teddy bears, and he is also into sewing, including cross-stitch. Azazel is not good at talking and rarely speaks, but when he does communicate he writes on something like a flipboard and shows it to the other person. Azazel is kind and considerate, and the contrast with his appearance makes him an appealing character.

Taking first place is Beelzebub, the protagonist of "As Miss Beelzebub Likes." Beelzebub is the archdemon who reigns supreme over Pandemonium, the administrative office of the demonic realm where former angels reside. While the much-admired archdemon gives off an intelligent impression in public, he is actually quite laid-back and easygoing. Furthermore, he is the demon responsible for Gluttony, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and apparently loves to eat. His favorite thing is fluffy things. He loves anything fluffy, even dust, sometimes even. While his love life is at a kindergarten level, he seems to be slowly growing closer to his beloved, his attendant, Myurin. With a beautiful, laid-back appearance, Beelzebub is a truly adorable and charming character.
