"Gakuen BASARA" is scheduled to be adapted into a TV anime series starting in October 2018. In the Sengoku BASARA series, Ishida Mitsunari is known as "Kyo-oh Mitsunari" (the Demon King) for his relentless attacks on his enemies. As in real life, he was the commander-in-chief of the Western Army at the Battle of Sekigahara and an enemy of Ieyasu. The design highlights Ishida Mitsunari's anger at Ieyasu's betrayal of the Toyotomi government. The design concept is a "fallen angel," with silver, white, and navy blue as the primary colors. The family crest, "Daiichidaiman-daikichi" (Great Good Fortune), is depicted on the tip of his armor and sword hilt.
Sharp Character
He has silver hair, with bangs that hang down slightly (or rather, quite a bit). This distinctive hairstyle is said to be inspired by Western armor. He wears relatively lightweight purple armor. He doesn't have any conspicuous equipment, such as a helmet. His eyes are quite sharp and narrow, giving him an overall sharp character.

He fights using a long sword with two tsuba (guards). He does not wear the long sword, but instead carries it in his left hand or in his mouth, sheath and all. He excels in high-speed combat based on Iaijutsu. Furthermore, after an attack, he can use a movement technique called Setsuna (movement) to reapproach his opponent with near-teleportation speed and pursue his attack.

His unique skill, "Fear," is a unique technique. When activated, he explodes with hatred and enters a walking state surrounded by a black aura. When attacked in this state, his movement speed increases, and at top speed, he can run faster than a horse.

Mitsunari Ishida is one of the candidates for student council president at "BASARA Academy." There's a reason he wanted to become student council president. This is for the sake of Hideyoshi, whom he respects. Hideyoshi was originally the student council president of "BASARA Academy," but Tokugawa Ieyasu felt that the school Hideyoshi was creating would not be the ideal one he envisioned, so he led the recall.

As a result of the recall campaign, Hideyoshi is ousted from his position as student council president. Ishida Mitsunari, who has great respect for Hideyoshi, is competing with Tokugawa Ieyasu for the position of next student council president in order to avenge Hideyoshi's defeat.
