The story is set in Italy. The protagonist, Giorno, who aspires to become a gangster, begins by joining the gang organization Passione. While Giorno resents the organization for distributing drugs, he follows his boss' orders and carries out his missions. However, he later becomes hostile towards the boss, and a new battle begins.

The story ultimately splits into three factions. The first are those who follow the boss of the organization. The second are former assassins who betrayed the boss due to their poor treatment. And the third group is Bucciarati's group, to which our protagonist Giorno belongs. What outcome awaits this three-way battle?
