Kirito and Alice's childhood friend, A boy with flaxen hair and green eyes. Eugeo was the first person Kirito met when he dived into the virtual world of Underworld. He grew up in the village of Rulid, a childhood friend of Alice and Kirito.
Just as popular as Kirito!
In the SAO series, Kirito is always in a harem. However, in Alicization, Eugeo is just as popular as Kirito, if not more so! He's kind, honest, diligent, and hardworking, so it's no wonder he's popular.

Eugeo had always loved Alice Zuberg, a blonde girl who had been with him since childhood. One day, right before his eyes, Alice was kidnapped by an Integrity Knight as a criminal. Since then, Eugeo no longer laughed in public, even in his village, and instead focused on becoming an Integrity Knight in order to save Alice.

Eugeo's relationship with Kirito is so close that she's even been called the heroine of Alicization. When she first meets Kirito again, she has lost all memory of the past, but after leaving the village together and sharing meals and sleeping quarters for two years, their relationship quickly grows closer.

After leaving the village with Kirito, Eugeo joined the Zaccaria Guard Corps together, where he learned the Aincrad style of swordsmanship. Until then, Eugeo had been no match for Kirito's strength, but he soon showed a natural talent that surprised Kirito. He eventually achieves a higher rank than Kirito in the rank exam, and continues to grow stronger.

Eugeo possesses the Blue Rose Sword, a sacred treasure made of a block of eternal ice and a blue rose, which has two abilities: "freezing" and "bringing life to life." At first he has no idea how to use it, but after fighting a group of goblins he gradually becomes better at it.
The Blue Rose Sword also has the ability to release the enemy's divine will with the words "Bloom, Blue Rose."

Even though it was to protect Tiese and the others, Eugeo and Kirito have become criminals for violating the Taboo Index. After a fierce clash between Alice and Kirito, they are thrown out of the tower, leaving Eugeo alone.

Left alone, Eugeo finds himself fighting Bercouli Synthesis One, the strongest Integrity Knight. After using all his strength and defeating Bercouli, Eugeo loses consciousness on the spot. Chudelkin then appears and takes him to the Administrator. His mind is then manipulated, and he turns into Eugeo Synthesis Thirty-Two and points his sword at Kirito.

Eugeo regains his senses thanks to Kirito's desperate pleas, and together with Kirito, Alice, and a mysterious girl named Cardinal, they confront the Administrator. Faced with Administrator's overwhelming power, Eugeo, mortally wounded, uses the last of Cardinal's strength to transform himself into a sword and cut off Administrator's right arm.
Stand up, Kirito. My best friend...
Even after cutting off Administrator's right arm, the sword Eugeo transformed into was not safe. The magic dissipated immediately, and Eugeo returned to his original form, but his body was now split into upper and lower halves. Realizing his end was near, Eugeo mustered his last bit of strength and helped Kirito stand again. Kirito then responded to Eugeo's feelings and defeated Administrator.

Even after defeating the Administrator, Eugeo's bleeding continues... Trying to convey his final message to Kirito, Eugeo shares his feelings for Kirito and Alice and names Kirito's unnamed black sword the "Night Sky Sword." With the meaning of "envelop this small world as gently as the night sky," Eugeo passed away in Kirito's arms.
